Joseph Woke Up A Prisoner And Ended The Day Riding In A Chariot.
The Ball Is In Your Court!

During the Online Sunday Service, Pastor Adeboye spoke on how Joseph woke up as a Prisoner on a particular day in his life and at the the end of that same day, he was riding in one of Pharaoh's chariots, completely in charge of Egypt, which was the greatest nation on earth as of that time.

He spoke on how it is necessary to have faith that God will do what you desire. As stated in scripture when speaking to the woman with the issue of blood, Jesus said, "Be it unto you according to your faith." It is only when we believe that we see the possibility in all things.

He further spoke on how diligence and hard work are key factors which God expects us to have if we really want to attain greater heights. You can't possess laziness and expect to stand before kings. He concluded by saying the ball is in your court.

I HAD ENOUGH SENSE TO KNOW THAT IF I DIDN'T STUDY HARD, I WOULD DIE A POOR MAN.

During the May Thanksgiving Service, Pastor Adeboye shared the story of his upbringing and schooling. He said that his father was a poor man who had two wives and ten children. He stated that, "He was so poor that poor people called him poor."

Despite how young he was, he said, "I had the sense to realize that if I don't study, I will die in poverty." The situation of his family pushed him to study very hard thereby gaining admission into Ilesha Grammar School. When his parents heard, they asked, "Where are we going to get the money to pay the school fees?" He replied, "You will have to get the money one way or the other." He told them he wasn't going to eat until the Two Pounds payment was made. He said his mother laughed and said, "When hunger catches you, you will change your mind." He went ahead with his plans and didn't eat. Being the only son of his mother out of four sisters, she took pity on him by the third day and provided the Two Pounds.

He stressed that you cannot succeed in life if you don't know where you are going. He also reiterated the need to be focused regardless of age. The earlier you decide what you want to do and be in life, the better for you.

TESTIMONY OF A COUPLE WHO WANTED DIFFERENT GENDERS BUT WERE BLESSED WITH TWINS AFTER A LONG WAIT.

Pastor E.A. Adeboye while preaching on the Online Sunday Service shared a testimony of a couple who had been trusting God for the fruit of the womb. Before he prayed for them, he asked which gender they desired and he said the husband shouted boy while the wife shouted girl, simultaneously. He responded, "How about a set of twins?"

He prayed and the following year they showed up with the husband carrying the boy and the wife carrying the girl.

He used this as an example to reiterate that the desire for Spiritual power should be to establish the Kingdom of God on earth not to brag to the world about being a great ministry gift.
