Prayers: Lift your hands everywhere you are and say “Father today make me a visible representative of You to my generation.

They brought a mad man to me with a lot of padlocks and chains all over. I said they should open the chains, they said he was very violent but they must have thought to themselves “if he pounces on everybody, the man of God is also here”. They opened padlock number 1,2,3,4 opened all of them and unwound the chain. The hand of the young man was bleeding. He adjusted his dress like this and I said to him “Sorry”. He said thank you Sir. I said go on your knees, he went on his knees and I led him to Christ, the whole thing didn’t last more than five minutes. I told him, you are free, mother, take your son. Church Gist. The operation did not last five minutes and he was on his way a free gentleman and one of our pastors who were with me said, Sir what happened? When you said "loose him", you had not prayed for him, how could he be free just like that? I told him I came out with a revelation, He said “he that heareth you heareth me”. In my mind, any devil that cannot say no to Jesus, cannot say no to me. When I opened my mouth to say leave him, the devil didn’t hear me, he heard Him because “he that heareth you heareth me”. His voice was inside my voice.

My dear brothers and sisters. This morning we need to come and activate the fire for the revelation of our Master to our generation. We need to activate the fire in order to subdue the forces of darkness and show them where they belong.

Anybody who dares your God, you dare them. Matthew 11:12. I see a fresh fire of jealousy, if you are in the city and beer parlours are overrunning the land, you need to rise and say No! Church Gist. Idol shrines are overrunning the land, you say No! Night clubs are taking over the land, you say not on my watch. Terrorists are intimidating people, you say not under my watch.

4. The willingness to take risks for God.

You need fire, you need the willingness to risk it for God, do you want a lion's share? You need a lion's heart. The devil fears those who don’t fear him. Resist the devil and he will resist you? No! He does resist those who resist him, he flees. Those who say “if I perish, I perish” don’t perish. Esther said “if I perish, I perish” did she perish? When you take care, you take nothing. There are too many people who take too much care. Overcaution leads to underaction. There are those who are too cautious, there are those who are too fearful. Shedrack, Meshach and Abednego said, “Nebuchadnezzar we are not careful”. One of my assignments this morning is to militarize you in the realm of the spirit, to 'ruggedize' and 'firerize' and 'flameatize' you. Church Gist. Willingness to risk it for God, Elijah stood out when nobody was ready to stick out his neck. He dared Ahab, he dared Jezebel, he dared the false prophets, so the fire fell. What are you daring? Who are you daring? I have dared many devils, I have dared many wicked people, dared many wicked rulers. How can you have destiny without energy? I prophesy upon you today, whatever you need to do, whatever risk you need to take in order to see the fire of God, in order to fulfill your life assignment, the grace is released. Dare the devil.

When you combine all the things I am saying: Understanding the purpose, jealousy for the course of God, willingness to take risks for God, it will lead to number 5.

5. Functioning with the spirit of a fighter.
Moto! Moto! Get ready to be motorized. Motorization! Idol altars are about to catch fire. Ancient altars in your communities are about to catch fire, generational limitations are about to be broken. Functioning with a fighter's spirit. The refusal to bow for defeat. If the devil confronted you and appeared as if he conquered you 1/-2-3-4-5-6 times. Church Gist. The Bible says the righteous falls seven times and can still get up. They say rejoice not over me my enemies, if I fall, I shall rise. The refusal to accept defeat as an option. Someone once said failure is not final and failure is not an event, it is an option.

Trust Him to take you where you haven’t been, where those you known haven’t been. Trust Him to do things in your life that you have never heard.

That was the song one sister was singing after they had been kidnapped and were in the middle of the forest. She dropped her head in between her feet and was singing the song, the song God gave me. While she sang the song with her head down and lifted up her head, she was no longer seated in the kidnap camp anymore, she was now seated on the highway close to a military checkpoint. Church Gist. She had been transported and relocated by the power of spiritual transportation, the type that transported Philip. She was transported from danger and sat side by side with safety. The soldiers saw her and said who is this and what is happening? And she told her story. Trust God for the unusual.

Three Sundays ago, a sister testified of how she was in another danger with terrorists and kidnappers, we have had such a challenge in our nation and it is ending already. While they were matching them into the forest a voice told her "stop" and she stopped and it appeared as if her feet were pinned to the group and she couldn’t move anymore and every other person passed by her including the wicked people. She was seeing them, they were not seeing her. That was how she left back to the same vehicle and was taken to safety. Today, believe God for the unusual and we are going to see results.

Prayers: Lift your hands and speak to God, tell Him what you are about to receive this morning.

I said get yourself help from where? He said, anywhere. He was occultic before and that his people are asking him that he should come let them help him that they can see that things are not working for him.

I said so you want to get the power from the devil to use it to work for who? Darkness covers the Earth and that darkness wants to cover you. Church Gist. There are pastors who have invited other Pastors – “Come let me show you way.” That will never be your portion!

2. Blindness and visionlessness; the absence of illumination: Deuteronomy 28:29; Proverbs 4:19; Job 5:14; 1 John 2:11. Church Gist. We live in a world today where many people including people in Church are in survival mode because the darkness is covering the Earth. No vision especially among the youths!

3. Death and destruction: Job 18:18. Job 3:5; Psalm 143:3; Job 10:21. I am sure you know that we live in a world today that is raving with all manner of death. Church Gist. Either death from sickness, accidents, human activity – death covers the Earth.

4. Darkness represents silence or voicelessness: 1 Samuel 2:9. You know today, the number of voices in the nations of the Earth are very few – it is a product of darkness. If you look at this nation today, the number of voices that will speak out against evil – scarce! Church Gist. At times I wonder: are the people not aware of what is going on? Would we continue to do Church as usual if the whole country is finished, who will we preach to? Nobody can do ministry in war.

A pastor was talking to me the other day, he was pastoring in Ukraine. Where he is pastoring now, pastoring cannot function at all. He has now left the country and gone to North America. Church Gist. Church building is still there and he is wondering what to do with it. why is it that voices for God, the people and the nation are scarce? It is because darkness covers the Earth.
Lift up your hands and say, ‘Father, in the name of Jesus, I escape the covering of darkness. Darkness shall not cover my voice! My voice shall be heard

5. Darkness represents the mysterious: Job 12:22; 1 Corinthians 4:5; Daniel 2:22; Isaiah 45:3. I announce today in this season of darkness, everything that is covered under darkness in your life, they shall be unveiled! Church Gist. The treasures of darkness, riches of darkness, shall be unveiled! “darkness covered the Earth” means we live in a world of mysteries.
Why is this young lady serving the Lord so passionately – she’s not corrupt, she’s not unclean, very spiritual, beautiful and yet there is no husband? Why is this one not giving birth to his/her children? Church Gist. Everything is intact, never messed up before getting married, yet they said the fallopian tubes are blocked. All manner of mysterious things happen inside darkness.
- I announce today, by the mantle with which I preach, every mystery under the cover of darkness, I declare them exposed by the light of the Gospel!
Say, “In the name of Jesus, every mystery around my life, I command you be exposed NOW!”
The young man said 2,000 Naira fuel in his car cannot move from here to there and then saw that his car was in the village – one tyre on the road, another tyre in the bush.
- Any mystery that needs to be demystified so that your life can shift level, in this season, I declare it shall be exposed.
Say after me, “All mysteries shall be exposed around my life.

The devil has taken you for a ride too long. Today, the mystery shall be unveiled. You paid for a house, you can’t enter the house. Church Gist. You paid for a car you can’t drive the car. That mystery is over.

* Father, I refuse to be swallowed up by the darkness of my generation. My voice cannot be drowned by the darkness of my generation. My life cannot be drowned by the darkness of my generation, my assignment can be drowned by the darkness of my generation In Jesus name.

* Father I decree against every agent and altar of darkness, against my life, against my shining, against my life assignment, every agent and altar of fire against my life, I command you receive the judgment of fire, die now.

For every battle, a major need is the mantle. if you can see, Elisha got the mantle, the river Jordan was a walkover. You need the mantle. You have the mantle you tackle the battle and now we are realizing that darkness is a battle. Church Gist. We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world.

* Father I receive the mantle to tackle the battle against darkness in my life, in my family, in my assignment, I receive the mantle, to bury the battle, I receive it now.

The last time they saw your back will be the last forever.
We are not the generation to be buried by darkness. We are the generation to bury darkness.

Lift your hands high. When I say in the name of Jesus, you scream I receive at the top of your voice and you’re praying that prayer with all the fervency you possess. The mantle to tackle the battle of darkness, I receive at the top of your voice and you blast in tongues like you have never done before. Are you ready? Father let something drop on someone right now, let something drop and break ancestral curse, generational curse, witchcraft curse, the occultic powers. ..

When Daniel came down with that wisdom, he was heard of by astrologers, Chaldeans and all those folks Daniel 5:11. He's coming in and they are bowing, that's the order of wisdom reserved for this Endtime- Ordained for all of the chosen generations of God's people and we are the product of His predestination chosen before the foundation of the world. Church Gist. And every child of God is a chosen brand in his generation, it is not that there is one new generation that somebody is shouting about. So one major characteristic of this Endtime is access to this manifold Wisdom of God that empowers believers to rule on the earth and subdue all principalities and powers in Heavenly places.

The days of greater than Solomon are here Matthew 12:42, Luke 11:31, John 17:18. So inside of you is that wisdom pack that is greater than the one deposited into Solomon. And it shall begin to find expression as you begin to improve on the quality of your walk with God Proverbs 13:20. We are in the days of greater than Solomon and we are the ones that He is talking about! Church Gist. The days of creative wisdom of God are here Proverb 8:12, the days of witty inventions are here by access to manifold wisdom of God reserved for this Endtime. You put fifty thousand people in the Faith Tabernacle and nobody is choking! The reigning days of the Church are here, the days of many sided wisdom of God are here Psalm 104:94, Proverbs 3:19.

Now, let me take time and introduce you to the Book of Ultimate Wisdom. When we are saved we have qualified access to it because He obtained for us when He obtained for us power, riches, wisdom, strength, glory, honour and blessings Revelation 5:12- We have qualified access for it but where can it be found? Church Gist. It is one thing to know what you are looking for and another thing to know where it can be found. You don't go to Ota market to look for aircraft spare parts! No! You may find vegetables, tomatoes or even wood there!

Now let's go to this Prophetic Celebration of Wisdom in Job 28:7-14. This Wisdom is not found in the land of the living! Harvard University does not have it and you have never seen it. No! It's out of this world! Job 28:14. You can't get to buy this Wisdom Job 28:19. Church Gist. There is no natural realm that can access it, researchers cannot locate it Job 28:20-21-23. We saw how Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were thrown into the fire and how they came out! Wisdom!

I cannot remember in the last twenty-something years, one month passed that an honour didn't leave my direction to the direction of my Father in the Lord! One month! Not two, not three months! How? If only I remember to pay the tithe and offering! The three things that you do to the Priest to connect with what he carries: First, value him. Two, honour him and three obey him - Especially, if you believe that he carries the Word of God in his mouth and if you believe that he is the Prophet over your life! Value him! Honour him! Obey his instructions as God gives him directions.

I think it may be in the year 2000 that God's Servant Papa Oyedepo came with God's Servant Pastor Myles Munroe of blessed memory. You remember the first Church that had the basement, that was 23 years ago. So I saw them off to the airport and while we sat down and talked, I put some things inside an envelope and planted it in the hand of Myles Munroe and he looked at me and looked at Papa Oyedepo and he said: 'You taught your people so well! Your people are well-trained! And he made one utterance, 'What works for us, may it work for you'! - In the eyes of my Father who said, 'Amen'! How? It's a blessing that is not buyable with money. When we go from Nation to Nation and in one of the Nations, the whole Nation shut down - The President of the Nation, First Lady of the Nation, Inspector General of Police, Army Chiefs of Staff and several cabinet Ministers all sitting in a Leadership Session, hearing instructions from this tiny man - Everybody was there!

We went to another country, the Vice President sat down there, the Mayor and all manner of people! Somebody said, 'The only person that he knew this thing happens for is Myles Munroe. He said that he is the one that will go into a country and he will be teaching leaders - With the leadership mantle! You know? It's one thing for a President to receive you to his Nation and another thing to also bring you into his Presidential Villa and another thing for him to sit for instructions. Did you understand what I'm talking about? It is just there! Just looking and wondering what is going on! We go from place to place and the Governor of our Nation here will also be sitting down.

3. Darkness represents depression
There was no time on the face of the earth when we had so much depression. Joy is low, excitement is bankrupt. As a pastor, I receive text messages all the time. People everywhere from all over the world, some are contemplating suicide, some don’t know what to do with their lives because of the darkness and gloominess of the earth. Church Gist. If your life is filled with that depression, I declare today that the light of God’s celebration is coming your way. Out of this conference, depression is leaving your way. That yoke shall be broken.

At least one light of Scripture, one revelation, one insight, something you would hold on to and say 'This is what I came out of this fast with and the devil must pay for whatever he has done against my life'. Church Gist. Sit down, open the Scripture, speak in tongues, pray (Lord, what are you saying, Spirit of God, I receive light on this matter), then you can consider the fast successful. By the time you get that witness in your spirit, you'll see light that will make you shout, light that will make you look like a drunkard, light that will make you rugged, ruthless and spiritually reckless.

Our Church had the highest income during Covid and we were not doing physical Church. Your mentality defines your dignity. So, you must see it, think it and believe exemption to enjoy exemption. ' As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he' You are not born again to suffer what the World is suffering.

- You must see it that your own case is different from others and it shall be so to someone who believes it.

The 12 spies, when Moses sent them. The whole 12 acknowledged there were giants. Remember, the whole 12 acknowledged it. 10 had faith in the giants, 2 had faith in God. 2 only believed that God can make it. 10 believed their case was hopeless. Nobody is saying there is no hardship, that will be self deception but in the midst of hardship, what are you seeing? Everybody goes to the same market, but those who know the truth don't suffer what others suffer.

- You will not be a victim of suffering.

2: Embrace the love factor. I use Mark 12 because Matthew 22:37 did not put (the word) 'strength' So, I will use Mark 12:30,31. It puts (the word) 'Strength' because whatever makes you who you are, use it to love God. Your strength can be your position, your strength can be your political power. It says until you use that place that makes you who you are to love God, you are not a lover. Love is the foundation for all covenant practices. Anything done without love will never produce. Matthew 6:33. So, those who see God don't sink in life.

- You will never sink.

DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE DARKNESS, LOOK FORWARD TO THE GLORY

- Bishop David Abioye on "STEWARDSHIP SECURES EXEMPTION IN HARD TIMES" SHILOH 2023 - Day 2 Morning Session REDEEMED TO FLOURISH IN HARD TIMES Hour of Visitation - First Word Session Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland, Ota || Part A.

We are reminded this morning that our theme for Shiloh 2023 is ‘Redeemed To Flourish in Hard Times.’ Hard Times have already commenced and there is no prayer anybody can pray against it because it is prophetic. Church Gist. You can not pray against prophecy but you can take a position as it applies to the fulfillment of the Prophecy in your life.

For instance, Isaiah 60:2 says ‘Darkness will cover the Earth and it will grow to gross darkness but (that's a language - a word of exemption) the Lord shall arise upon you and the glory of the Lord shall be seen upon you.’

There is a clear demarcation, darkness on one side, glory on the other side. So don't worry about the darkness, look forward to the glory. Church Gist. What did God say will happen to you? Say it again everybody! When you see darkness, what do you expect? Glory!

On this note, our teaching this Morning is captioned: ‘STEWARDSHIP SECURES EXEMPTION IN HARD TIMES.’

Addiction to serving God is our security in hard times. The harder it is, the more committed you should be. Our text is Malachi 3:16-18, 4:1-2…Now in Scriptures, fear sometimes is replaced by serve. So serving God commits God to you. Church Gist. You become God's property and responsibility when you serve Him.

“In that day, when I make up my jewels (you become precious jewels before the Lord) and I will spare them, I will separate them, I will exempt them.” Serving God is key to your exemption…‘As a man spareth his own son that serveth him’ - there are sons that are not serving and there are sons that are serving.

When you become a child of God, you become entitled to inheritance but when you serve God, you become entitled to rewards. Church Gist. They are two different things. Inheritances are promises, rewards are covenants.

Promises may change but covenants can not change. Many children of God are claiming promises and to some extent, God answers promises but He is committed to rewards. Church Gist. He cannot change covenants so nobody can alter your rewards.

You pray for promises but you walk in the Covenant. Malachi 3:18. So the demarcation line is stewardship. What separates us, what distinguishes us is our commitment to serving God…and then, He went further to tell us how hard the times will be in Malachi 4:1-2. Amen.

- He shall arise for you!
- When they are sick, He will arise for you with healing in His wings and for you, you shall go forth!

Where will you go? ‘You will go back?’

- They will be going down, you will be going up!
- They will be going back, you will be going forward!
- They will be begging, you will be giving!
- They will be borrowing, you will be lending!
- They will be selling their houses, you will be buying them!
- They will be serving, you will be employing them!

So, that's what God said about you in the Covenant and it shall not fail.
