BREAKING:
ELECTRICITY: THE ARK TO BE POWERED BY 32,TRANSFORMERS
Bishop Oyedepo has announced that 32 transformers will be used to power the Ark when it comes on stream. According to him, during the second service yesterday, 4th May 2025, this will be required because of the large power requirement at the new building. The Ark will have 129 elevators, travelators and escalators which will move worshippers including elderly people and in other cases, challenged folks who require healing up and down the 4 floor, 109,000 capacity bowl as well as the 5,000 capacity youth church and 20,000 seat children's church. Additionally, the staff will operate between the 12 twin tower mission headquarters and use of the staircase may not always be practicable.
Canaanland already had a 15MW Power plant installed in 2016 but this will be inadequate for power needs of the Ark. The Dome will also draw 1MW of solar energy to the facility while the roof is designed to gather rain 🌧 water to aid in flushing the 1,200 restrooms by gravity.
The transformers located at the new power required to power plant is much bigger than the present plant.
It is believed to be already under construction and would be finished in time for the dedication of the Ark.
The new Megawatt power plant reported to be 80MW will help to supply electricity to the whole of Canaanland including The Ark, Covenant University, Canaan City and possibly some parts of Ota.
According to Bishop Oyedepo, Canaanland has never experienced a complete electricity blackout since 1999 contrary to the norm in Nigeria.

GOD TOLD ME IT IS TIME TO TEACH PEOPLE WHAT I DO NOT WHAT I KNOW.
- Bishop David Abioye
Bishop David Abioye while preaching at the Inaugural Morning Sunday Service of Living Word Conquerors Global Assembly stated how God instructed him to start teaching people what he has been doing to get his result and not just what he knows in order to get applause from the People.
In his words, "Yesterday, the Lord told me very clearly, He said 'it is time for you to teach people what you do, not what you know.' Many of us are guilty of this. We teach people what we know, so we can take their applause. Many, many of us in the Vineyard enjoy that. We prepare things to say, people can clap or jump up, 'Preach it man' Entertainers! The things which Jesus began to do and to teach - Acts 1:1. He said to me, 'It's time to teach people what you do not what you know. Show them what you have seen. Teach them what you have been taught."
He also stated that people are always compelled to help him anywhere he goes because they see God in him. He further emphasized on the fact that you can't walk with the Almighty and be treated as a nonentity.

I HAD ENOUGH SENSE TO KNOW THAT IF I DIDN'T STUDY HARD, I WOULD DIE A POOR MAN.
- Pastor E.A. Adeboye
During the May Thanksgiving Service, Pastor Adeboye shared the story of his upbringing and schooling. He said that his father was a poor man who had two wives and ten children. He stated that, "He was so poor that poor people called him poor."
Despite how young he was, he said, "I had the sense to realize that if I don't study, I will die in poverty." The situation of his family pushed him to study very hard thereby gaining admission into Ilesha Grammar School. When his parents heard, they asked, "Where are we going to get the money to pay the school fees?" He replied, "You will have to get the money one way or the other." He told them he wasn't going to eat until the Two Pounds payment was made. He said his mother laughed and said, "When hunger catches you, you will change your mind." He went ahead with his plans and didn't eat. Being the only son of his mother out of four sisters, she took pity on him by the third day and provided the Two Pounds.
He stressed that you cannot succeed in life if you don't know where you are going. He also reiterated the need to be focused regardless of age. The earlier you decide what you want to do and be in life, the better for you.

IF THE GOVERNMENT CANNOT PROVIDE SECURITY, THEN COMMUNITIES SHOULD DEFEND THEMSELVES - Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche
While leading prayers against insecurity and incessant killiñgs currently going on in various parts of Nigeria, Dr. Paul stated how he agrees completely with people who are calling on communities to rise up and defend themselves.
Speaking, he said, " we agree with that position (that communities should defend themselves). You don't have to wait for government to supply you water if you don't have water, you dig your borehole. You don't have to wait for government to supply you water if you don't, you buy generator. And if government cannot supply you security?..."
He further tasked servicemen and ex servicemen who are members of these communities to rise up in defense of their indigenous homes; " it's time for people to wake and rise, defend your communities and stand. You're a serviceman, ex serviceman in your community, you're there for such a time as this. What are all of you waiting for? If a matter is not confronted, it's not tackled", he roared.
