Civil and Mechanical Engineers are most likely to get a government job. *OPSC AEE* aims to recruit Asistant Executive Engineer. The *Cest club of NIT Rourkela*, in collaboration with *ICE UK*, is organizing a talk session with Mr. Debasish Khuntia, an *alumnus of NITR*, who bagged *Rank 1* in *OPSC AEE EXAM*. It is an excellent opportunity for aspirants to get a brief idea about this exam and get motivated by the best in the business.

Ramnavmi is celebrated on the birthday of Lord Shri Ram, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu in Chitra according to the Hindu calendar. Shri Ram was born in Ayodhya(Utter Pradesh) as the first son of King Dashrath and Queen Kausalya. This *Ram avatar of Lord Vishnu was meant to kill the almighty Ravan*, destroy sins and maintain peace and prosperity on earth. The celebrations include fasting, singing devotional songs, visiting temples, and reciting hymns from Rama Charitmanas.

On this auspicious day, the CEST and ICE family wishes everyone a *Happy Ram Navmi*.

The International Day for Monuments and Sites, also known as World Heritage Day, is observed on April 18. It *celebrates the work carried out by the ICOMOS*- International Council on Monuments and sites. This day is all about increasing the awareness on the importance of the diversity of cultural heritage and preserving it for generations in the future.

Eid-Al-Fitr, also known as " *Holiday of breaking fast*" is a religious holiday which is celebrated by Muslims worldwide as it marks the end of the month-long dawn to sunset fasting of Ramadan. It is celebrated during the first three days of the month Shawwal, the 10th month of the Islamic calendar. *Muslims use this holy time to express their gratitude to Allah for their well being*. Many Muslims gather in the religious places like mosques and do mass prayers.

She is the greatest warrior, and her love is the strongest energy known to humans.

*Rath Yatra, the festival of chariots* attracts more than a million pilgrims every year from around the world. It is celebrated yearly at Puri, the temple town of Odisha, on the second day of Shukla Paksha of Ashada Masa for a week. The three deities, Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and their sister Subhadra are worshipped within the temple and then taken to the streets of Puri on three different chariots decorated with grand colours, and flowers to Gundicha Temple. It *lasts for a week* and after seven days, the deities return to their former place.

Puri's *Rath Yatra is a symbol of unity, brotherhood, and peace*. On this divine day, CEST and ICE family wish you, a *Happy Rath Yatra.*

*Eid al-Adha*, also known as the feast of sacrifice is *celebrated in remembrance of the sacrifice that Prophet Ibrahim made out of his strong faith in Allah*. It is celebrated on the 10th day of the Islamic month Zul Hijjah for around three days. The celebration generally involves prayers, family gatherings, and feasts. Muslims across the globe offer special namaz at the mosque after the sun has completely risen and just before the sun enters the Zuhr time. After namaz, they wish each other and offer the sacrifice of goats and sheep. This sacrifice of animals is known as Qurbani.
