Asexuals and skeletons.

I don't know what it is, but for some reason in my head they're just two very related things. Skeletons are inherently asexual. Any one else feel it too? Maybe it's that ace week is right near Halloween so we have to have a connection to The Spooky

"Allosplaining"

So it's not like we don't have enough labels haha but we need a word for this because it seems like it happens almost universally to aces.

Allosplaining = an allo telling you what asexuality means (usually incorrectly and as justification for why they think you're NOT asexual)

Aces Dating Non-Aces

For the aces here that are currently dating non-aces, how do you go about that, especially in regards to sex? Especially if you also happen to be sex neutral or sex repulsed?

In my last relationship (2.5 years long, i discovered/accepted my asexuality in the last year of it), my boyfriend frequently got really upset that I didn't want sex as much as him or that I didn't recognized potentially spicy opportunities for sex. And he got sad when he felt like I wasn't attracted to him and started getting really self-conscious about his appearance. He started trying to make himself more attractive and making sex better, but it obviously didn't really have any affect on me except to make me feel absolutely awful about hurting his feelings and possibly giving him new insecurities. The relationship ended over a year ago and I haven't really dated since.

It seems so daunting and impossible to find someone that won't mind about the lack of sex or won't be hurt about the lack of sexual attraction. So how do aces go about dating and finding a relationship with someone who isn't ace?
