Gli utenti attivi, al mese, su #Threads sono 175 milioni. L’annuncio lo ha fatto Mark Zuckerberg proprio sulla piattaforma di Meta lanciata esattamente un anno fa. Un successo o ci si aspettava qualcosa di più?

Esattamente ad un anno dal suo lancio, Mark Zuckerberg, CEO di Meta, annuncia che su Threads gli utenti attivi mensili sono 175 milioni. Un dato interessante, senza dubbio, e molto atteso.

Come si può interpretare questo risultato? Come un successo o come un insuccesso?

Intanto diciamo che questo risultato è frutto anche dell’arrivo di Threads in UE, avvenuto lo scorso dicembre. Quindi un incremento c’è stato.

E, soprattutto, si tratta ancora di un dato che è frutto del traino di Instagram. Senza il quale, forse, o probabilmente, questi dati non ci sarebbero stati ancora.

Threads, dopo un anno ci si aspettava di più

Forse ci si aspettava qualcosa di più. Soprattutto dopo la partenza a razzo, è il caso di dire. Ricorderete tutti che Threads in pochi giorni raggiunse i 100 milioni di utenti, graie anche al fatto di accedere alla piattaforma usando Instagram.

Solo che subito dopo la crescita si arrestò bruscamente. Nel giro di poche settimane cominciò già a perdere il suo fascino.

A dicembre dello scorso anno gli utenti erano circa 130 milioni. E oggi si scopre che, a distanza di 6 mesi, l’app è cresciuta di altri 45 milioni di utenti.

Threads è stata lanciata da Meta con un obiettivo molto chiaro. E cioè quello di provare a dare una nuova casa ai tanti utenti che, da ottobre 2022 con l’inizio dell’era Elon Musk, abbandonavano Twitter.
