Martin Luther King was killed 51 years ago. The one who was fighting for the rights of Black People in the US. And the one who had a dream. His speech "I have a dream" which he gave in August 1964 is one of the most famous speeches ever given. At a time where many things are going on in Europe, for instance an increasing number of racist incidents: What is your dream? How should Europe look like?

„Wake up and take action!” Maybe Greta Thunberg has already heard about our Wake Up Action (👆👆instruction above👆👆). Certainly, she hit the nail on the head when she urged European politicians to finally focus on climate change. Indeed, Brexit seems like peanuts compared to the challenges we will face when the warming of the earth goes on. We are the first generation that will experience the devastating impacts of climate change and the last one that can do something about it. Greta is 16 years old and therefore not allowed to participate in the European elections. This applies to many, whose rights are affected - youth or people in the global south for instance. This is why it’s even more important that those who are entitled to vote participate in order to demand a future for all!

Today is World Press Freedom day!
In some countries in the EU today, the press cannot freely report information. There have been a number of cases brought before the European Court of Human Rights because of restrictions of the freedom of the press in countries like Hungary, Poland, Austria or France over the last years.
The European elections later this month represent a great opportunity to demand action from politicians so that journalists can report freely. #vote4humanrights Find more information here: https://rsf.org/en/ranking?fbclid=IwAR2qtCe931TaiWRTzWEsUnag5QszAHtZZZdfa2ddqPX2wQ9lXRf6sVmy_eY

Wow! Transeuropean activism at its best. Berlin, Budapest, Gothenburg, Palermo, Lisboa, Brussels, Dublin … . Yesterday the young Human Rights movement was on the streets in order to wake Europe up and claim a better future based on Human Rights, solidarity and dignity.
