We are looking for a Research Assistant (potentially, based on performance and meeting the requirements candidate will be registered for PhD) join our lab at United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) in the field of biomedical cancer research. The project focuses on the epigenetics of Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma (PDAC), using various cancer cell lines to investigate gene regulation, chromatin dynamics, and their role in disease progression. We use advanced techniques such as CRISPR-Cas9, RNA-Seq, ChIP-Seq, and CUT&Tag to understand epigenetic modifications and their therapeutic potential. The role involves hands-on work with molecular and cell biology techniques, experimental design, and NGS data analysis, contributing to impactful cancer research. We seek a motivated candidate with relevant expertise who is eager to be part of a collaborative and dynamic research environment. Fall 2025 PhD Positions in Materials and Optoelectronic Science

Positions Available:
1–2 PhD positions are available for outstanding international candidates for the Fall 2025 semester (experimental materials science only; simulation-focused projects are not applicable).
We are seeking talented candidates with a master’s degree in physics, chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, or nanotechnology. Our group and National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU) offer guaranteed stipend and tuition packages to qualified PhD students. All funded positions and application procedures follow official NSYSU regulations.
