⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ #Izyum Front: Situation near #Balakleya at the end of 6 September 2022⚡️
Today the AFU launched an offensive on #Balakleya from #Andreevka in the west of the city. The offensive began after prolonged artillery preparations on #Balakleya, #Izyum, logistic routes and warehouses of Russian Forces.
Due to its geographical location, without control over #Balakleya it is difficult for the Russian Forces to secure the northwestern flank of the grouping based in #Izyum. Should Russian forces ever want to turn their attention back to #Kharkov itself, there is a convenient route from #Balakleya via #Zmiyov to #Slobodskoye and the industrial districts of the regional centre.
▪️ Ukrainian Forces have entered the village of #Verbovka after carrying out a massive fire attack on mobilised DPR militias occupying defences in the nearby forests.
From there, the only way into the area of the 65th Arsenal and to #Balakleya itself is via the Srednyaya Balakleyka river. The bridge over the river is intact and there is a fight for control of it.
▪️ From #Verbovka, the AFU has achieved successes towards the village of #Yakovenkovo and is trying to advance towards Volokhov Yar and completely block #Balakleya from the north.
The Volokhov Yar - Balakleya road is now under AFU fire control.
▪️ In the south, the bridges over the Balakleyka and Kraynyaya Balakleyka rivers were blown up, so communication with the centre of #Balakleya is now interrupted.
Ukrainian troops have not entered the area of the camp on the west bank of the Balakleyka river north of its tributary (Lyakhovaya). There is also no confirmation of the presence of Russian forces in this area.
▪️ There are reports of Russian Forces advancing south of the village of #Bayrak and extending the zone of control towards #Gusarovka. However, so far there are no facts to confirm this.
Currently #Balakleya is in an operational encirclement and in the fire zone of Ukrainian artillery. All entrances are cut off by fire.

Situation around Balakleya.
⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ #Donbass Offensive: Situation in Eastern Ukraine at the end of Sep 11 2022⚡️
#Kharkov direction:
▪️ Russian Forces have practically withdrawn their troops from the territory of the Kharkov region, including the north of the region. AFU control over #Volchansk, Velikiy Burluk (Bolshoy Burluk) and #Liptsy has been confirmed
▪️ The new front line runs along the #Oskol River, on the left bank of which the units of the Russian Forces are entrenched. The information about the advance of the AFU towards #Svatovo and even #Starobelsk was an Ukrainian Media Hoax.
▪️ Late in the evening, Russian Forces carried out missile attacks on thermal power plants in #Kharkov and #Zmiyov, causing temporary power cuts in the region and neighbouring areas.
#Liman direction:
▪️ Russian units remain in control of #Liman, with heavy fighting with superior enemy forces on the outskirts of the city. Ukrainian forces are trying to reach the settlement from the east via the established crossing point at #Zakotnoye to create a bridgehead for further movement towards #Kremennaya.
#Soledar direction:
▪️ Wagner PMC units are fighting near an industrial area near Patrice Lumumba Street on the eastern outskirts of #Bakhmut (#Artemovsk).
#Donetsk direction:
▪️ Shelling of the DPR capital and surrounding settlements by Ukrainian militants continues unabated.
▪️ Positional fighting in #Donetsk suburbs continues.
▪️ Ukrainian Forces are moving reinforcements to #Krasnogorovka for a possible attack from #Avdeevka.
#Ugledar direction:
▪️ Ukrainian commanders are deploying reserves. A train with 150 pieces of military equipment has arrived at #Pokrovskoye station. In preparation for a possible counterattack, AFU engineer-sapper units have started clearing their own minefields on the approaches to #Ugledar.
#Zaporozhye direction:
Artillery duels are underway on the line of contact. On the night of 11 September, the last operating unit of the #Zaporozhye #NPP was shut down due to regular strikes by Ukrainian Forces.
