The highlight of the day was a series of strikes against energy infrastructure across Ukraine, including #Kiev. around 200 air- and sea-launched cruise missiles and a number of bomber munitions were fired at the targets.
During the attack, thermal power plants, substations and combined heat and power plants were hit in the eastern, central and western regions. Water and electricity supplies failed completely in some areas. Ukrainian air defences shot down several targets from the air, but were unable to repel the attack.
#Russian Federation - Border Areas:
▪️ Ukrainian militants shelled #Konoplyanovka, #Shebekino and #Masychevo in the #Belgorod region and the village of #Tetkino in the #Kursk region. One woman was killed and several others were wounded.
▪️ In the evening in #Crimea, an air defence system worked in the area of the airfield near #Dzhankoy. The wreckage of the vehicle fell on a residential building and injured one of the residents.
#Starobelsk Direction:
▪️ In the #Kupyansk area, units of the 14th AFU Brigade continue their offensive against Russian defensive positions at the #Olshany - #Pershotravnevoye line.
▪️ Heavy fighting continues near #Kremennaya. During the counterattack, units of the Western Military District and the Central Military District of the Russian Forces have taken control over the settlements of #Terny, #Torskoye and #Novosadovoye.
#Soledar Direction:
▪️ Wagner PMC units are fighting on the outskirts of #Bakhmut. There are no significant changes in other parts of the front.
#Lugansk Region:
▪️ Ukrainian militants have struck with HIMARS MLRS in the centre of #Rubezhnoye .
#Donetsk Direction:

▪️ No significant changes on the front line during the day. Russian Forces carried out several missile strikes at crossings over the #Ingulets River and also spotted several SRGs of the AFU.

#Andreevka Section:
▪️ A platoon of the 137th Battalion of the 35th Separate Marine Brigade of the AFU attempted a sortie in the direction of #Bruskinskoye and #Ishchenka. Russian Forces spotted the enemy activity and hit them, forcing them to retreat to Davydov Brod with losses.
▪️ After the failure of the storming of the village of #Sadok, the command of the 46th Airmobile Brigade is redeploying its units. Some of the forces of the 24th Mechanised Brigade are being withdrawn to restore combat readiness.
▪️ ATGMs were delivered to the area 4.4 km northeast of the village of Sadok. A combined SRG of the 46th and 28th Brigades is formed in Davydov Brod. An ambush is set up south of Malaya Aleksandrovka in case of a counteroffensive by Russian Forces.
#Berislav Sector:
▪️ A SRG of the 80th Airmobile Brigade, under artillery cover, attempted to evacuate the wounded and the bodies of the fallen on the #Polyanka - #Dudchany line. The Ukrainian units were pushed back to their initial positions by the counterfire of the Russian forces.
▪️ A network of informants is operating on the left bank of the #Dnipro river in Russian-controlled areas. It provides Ukrainian forces with data on the location of Russian positions in Malaya Lepetikha, Mikhailovka, Verkhny and Nizhny Rogachik.
▪️ The information received is relayed via open communication channels to the 60th Infantry Brigade checkpoints in Zolotaya Balka and #Novoalexandrovka. Ukrainian forces are probably planning to land tactical landing troops from the left bank of the #Dnipro river to carry out acts of sabotage in the rear of Russian Forces and near #Energodar.

#Berislav Area:
▪️ The AFU are conducting harassing fire on the Russian positions in #Pyatikhatki and #Polyanka using a 120mm mortar on an armoured fighting vehicle from the Novaya Kamenka area.
▪️ The forces of the 60th Separate Infantry Brigade and 131st Reconnaissance Battalion of the Territorial Defence of the AFU establish a stronghold six kilometres north of #Polyanka. An advanced repair and recovery point for damaged AFU equipment has been set up in #Shevchenkovka.
▪️ Units of the 79th Border Command of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine are deployed on the #Osokorovka - #Novoalexandrovka line to protect the coastal areas of the #Dnipro River.

▪️ The AFU in recent days regrouped their troops on the #Nikolaev - #Berislav direction.
➖ A convoy of wheeled vehicles has come from #Ochakov to #Nikolaev. On the way it was joined by several trucks with ammunition and MLRS. In the city itself it was joined by dozens of armoured vehicles transferred from the northern districts of #Nikolaev Oblast.
➖ The grouping then split up and departed in two directions: one to #Bashtanka, the other to #Pribugskoye and #Galitsinovo, where strike forces are being formed.
▪️ What are the future plans of the AFU?
➖ The Ukrainian leadership must organise an offensive before the cold weather arrives. Yesterday's attack by the AFU in the #Berislav area was a reconnaissance battle to check the staten of the Russian defensive lines. The surplus of personnel so far allows the enemy not to worry about losses from such unsuccessful assaults.
➖ The concentration of forces at the #Aleksandrovska sector and at #Bashtanka, from where they can be mooved to the #Andreevkya sector, indicates that these two sectors are being prepared for an attack.
➖ And the #Berislav section is needed to divert attention from the main directions of the assault: from #Luparevo and #Pribugskoye, as well as Sukhoy Stavok and Davydov Brod with subsequent access to Novaya Kakhovka and #Kherson.
▪️ Another possible option is a completely different direction - #Zaporozhye. For more than a month Ukrainian marines have been practicing landing near #Energodar.
➖ The #Zaporozhye NPP is the most important target for the AFU before the onset of winter, and the scenario of capturing the plant has been worked out for a long time. And the grouping moved to #Bashtanka can be sent to #Zaporozhye relatively quickly.
➖ In the event of another offensive in #Kherson Oblast, it cannot be ruled out that an attack will be launched simultaneously from the #Orekhov - #Gulyaypole line with a landing at #Energodar.
➖ And an attack from the #Dudchany village could also be used to cover the landing of AFU formations on the left bank of the #Dnipro from Zolotaya Balka and #Novoalexandrovka. Besides, they have informants in that area.

Locals are spreading information about preparations for an AFU attack on #Melitopol from #Orekhovo and #Vasilievka from #Kamenskoye.
▪️ Units of the 65th AFU Mechanized Brigade are stationed in residential buildings in #Novoalexandrovka, #Staroukrainka, #Zaliznichnoye and Verkhnyaya Tersa.

🔵 On the #Donetsk Front. The RFAF, supported by long range weapons, continue to press the AFU defence in #Krasnogorovka. Fierce fighting in #Netaylovo. The AFU is trying to launch counterattacks in order to slow down the advance of the Russian troops.
🟡 In the area of #Umanskoye, the frontline is without changes.
🟡 In the area of #Ocheretino, the RFAF are advancing along the railway tracks towards the village of #Progress, and are also getting closer and closer to #Novoalexandrovka, at the foot of which fierce fighting is taking place. (Fig. 2)

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Frontline #Summary for the Morning of 6 June 2024; pub. 08:08⚡️
🔴 On the #Zaporozhye Front, the line of contact is without significant changes. The area near #Rabotino and northwest of #Verbovoye remains active, but the fighting is mainly of a positional nature.
🟡 In the area of #Priyutnoye, fighting continues. (Fig. 1)
🔴 On the #Donetsk Front, in #Paraskoviyevka, Russian forces continue to clear the western outskirts of the village.
In the area of #Pobeda, no changes. In #Georgiyevka, the RFAF have taken full control of the territory of the village and are clearing the area.
🟡 In #Krasnogorovka, Russian troops continue to fight their way into the central part of the town, advancing from the south. The RFAF are also advancing from the eastern side of #Krasnogorovka. Russian troops are continuing their offensive towards #Karlovka, where fighting is unfolding on the approaches to the settlement on the southern side of the Karlovskoye Reservoir. At the same time, there is an advance from the northern side of the reservoir, with the aim of pushing the AFU back behind the Volchya River and covering #Yasnobrodovka from the south and north, from the direction of #Umanskoye.
🟡 In the #Sokol area and on the outskirts of #Novoalexandrovka, fighting is also continuing. (Fig. 2)
🔴 In #ChasovYar Direction, fighting continues for the heights in the area of #Kleshcheyevka.
🟡 Southwest of #Krasnoye, a similar situation is developing. The RFAF, supported by aircraft and artillery, are assaulting the eastern outskirts of #ChasovYar. Also, fighting continues west of #Bogdanovka. (Fig. 3)
🔴 On the #Kharkov Front, no significant changes here.
🟡 In Volchansk, fighting continues in the central part of the town, where Ukrainian troops are trying to counterattack using reserves.
🟡 North of #Liptsy, a similar situation.
🟡 In general, the line of contact remains practically unchanged for a long time, but the activity of fighting in this area is extremely high. (Fig, 4)

🔻1. #Ocheretino:
🟡 At #Sokol, progress. The village itself is still under AFU control.
🟡 Advance in #Novoalexandrovka. The fighting continues to shift into the village itself, the enemy admits the loss of some positions.
🟡 Advance at #Kalinovo. The RFAF are bypassing the #Kalinovo fortified area from the west.
🔻2. South of #Ocheretino:
🟡 The RFAF advanced from #Umanskoye to the outskirts of #Novosyolka1st, the fighting shifted to the village.
🟡 North of #Umanskoye, a significant part of the territory will soon come under the control of the RFAF.
🔻3. Area of #Novopokrovskoye:
🟡 The RFAF advanced to the outskirts of the village. The village itself is still under AFU control.
🟡 The RFAF also expanded the control zone to the east and southeast of #Novopokrovskoye.
🔻4. #Yasnobrodovka:
🟡 We have not entered yet. Fighting is going on near the outskirts of the village and along the #Netaylovo - #Umanskoyw motorway.
🔻5. #Karlovka:
🟡 At the eastern outskirts, fighting is taking place.
🟡 The RFAF are entrenched in the area of dachas.
🟡 The village itself is still under AFU control.
📌 The Enemy considers this direction to be the most threatening for the AFU now, fearing further advance of the RFAF to #Krasnoarmeysk and #Selidovo. It can be expected that in the coming week the enemy will try to transfer 1-2 brigades here to stabilise the situation.
