⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ #Donbass Offensive: Situation in Eastern Ukraine at the End of 10 Sep 2022⚡️

▪️ Kharkov direction:

Russian Forces have withdrawn from a large part of the liberated territories of Kharkov region in order to save soldiers' lives and avoid casualties.

For the time being, Russian Forces are occupying the defences on the eastern bank of the Oskol River. Separate AFU manoeuvre groups are allegedly reaching the Russian border, but in reality the confirmed zone of conditional control of the AFU extends to the #Khotomlya - Velikiy Burluk (Bolshoy Burluk) line.

Russian troops are trying to stabilise the front line by making sure that the refugees get out.

▪️ #Liman direction:

The AFU have forded the Seversky Donets from the #Raygorodka side and are trying to take #Liman with an advance. Despite the withdrawal of the units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Russian units maintain control of #Liman and engage the enemy, holding them back on the Stary Karavan - #Dibrova - #Ozernoye line.

▪️ #Lugansk direction:

Information warfare organs spread falsifications about the occupation of #Svatovo, #Kremennaya, #Lysychansk and #Severodonetsk settlements by the AFU. All settlements are under the control of the Allied forces.

▪️ #Soledar direction:

Ukrainian Forces are trying to break through the defensive lines of Russian Forces and LPR military units near #Spornoye. The front line remains unchanged, there are no changes, all attacks have been repelled.

There are still unconfirmed reports about the advance of the Wagner PMC and the occupation of Mayorskaya railway station by the allied forces.

▪️ #Donetsk direction:

DPR People´s Militia units have completely cleaned the so-called "Anthill" in the Donetsk Airport runway area.

▪️ #Ugledar direction:

The AFU is moving forces towards #Ugledar and preparing for an attempt to break through Russian defences. In general, this could be an attempt to pre-empt the Russian reserves and the attack fist of the 3rd AC in this direction. In any case, there is a strong grouping on the side of the Russian Forces.

▪️ #Zaporozhye direction:

The AFU is pulling their reserves into the #Orekhov area and preparing for an offensive on #Rabotino and #Nesteryanka. Russian Forces have approximately tripled the concentration of Russian troops in the area.

▪️ Wagner PMC units continue to control a crossroads in the east of #Bakhmut (#Artemovsk) and attack AFU fire positions and strongholds in and around the city itself.

▪️ In parallel, the Wagner troops are fighting near the Donbass power substation and also developing an offensive towards #Nikolaevka II and #Otradovka.

▪️ In #Soledar, there are no significant changes on the front line. Fighting is taking place on the eastern outskirts of the settlement.

▪️ Allied forces have launched at least two missile attacks on targets in #Konstantinovka. This location is used to supply AFU units near #Bakhmut and #Soledar.

▪️ A difficult situation is developing near #Belogorovka, where Ukrainian forces are trying to storm the village. Heavy fighting is also taking place near #Sporny.

If the allied forces lose control of the settlements, the AFU will gain a bridgehead to attack #Severodonetsk, #Lysychansk and #Kremennaya to reach the rear of the LPR grouping.

The Ukrainian command is preparing for an offensive in the area south of #Ugledar and in the #Zaporozhye direction. This is necessary for the AFU to constrain the Russian reserves and prevent them from moving to the area of the main attack on #Svatovo and #Severodonetsk agglomeration.

#Zaporozhye Direction:

▪️ The AFU Dnepr Group Command plans to launch an attack on Russian positions in the #Orekhovsky and #Gulyaypole sections of the front in the coming days.

▪️ To probe the Russian Armed Forces' defence, the Ukrainian formations intend to once again conduct a reconnaissance battle near #Nesteryanka.

#Donetsk Direction:

▪️ In the #Avdeevka sector, the AFU continues to hold the advance of allied forces with massive artillery fire on the #Donetsk agglomeration.

▪️ Attempts to break through towards #Maryinka and #Peski fail and end in heavy casualties. Most reinforcements are sent in with little or no preparation.

The units of the 68th Infantry Division are put on full combat readiness before launching a counteroffensive in the #Prechistovka and #Pavlovka areas to break the defensive lines of the Allied Forces.

▪️ The 68th Brigade's UAV teams conduct reconnaissance of Russian forces' activities in the areas of #Pavlovka, #Yegorovka, and #Prechistovka. Ukrainian formations were supplied with ammunition.

However, all the activities of the AFU may not be preparation for a real offensive, but part of a disinformation campaign by the Russian command to force the Russian Forces to keep reserves in the areas and prevent their transfer to dangerous directions.

Border areas of the Russian Federation:

▪️ Ukrainian Forces shelled the border village of #Krasnooktyabrsky in the Glushkovsky district of #Kursk region, civilian infrastructure was damaged.

▪️ Near #Belgorod, Russian air defence forces shoot down a Tochka-U missil launched by the enemy.

#Kharkov Direction:

Positional fighting continues in the #Kupyansk area. The front line is stabilised. The advance of the AFU has been stopped.

#Lyman Direction:

Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to develop operational successes in the defensive area of the troops of the Western Military District of the Russian Armed Forces and the People's Militia of the People's Republic of Lugansk.

▪️ After the withdrawal from #Drobyshevo and #Yampol, the defence of the Russian Forces was built up on the outskirts of #Lyman and in the buffer zone around the Lyman-Zarechnoye-Torskoye road. The Russian troops have stopped the offensive of the Ukrainian Forces by deploying reserves and conducting counter maneuvering battles towards #Yampol and #Stavki. By the end of the day, #Stavki was recaptured.

▪️ Enemy armoured groups are trying to advance from #Drobyshevo, #Stavkov, #Dibrovo and #Yampol towards #Lyman and #Torskoye itself.

▪️ North of #Zarechnoye, Ukrainian armoured vehicles managed to advance through a dam across the #Zherebets river to the village of #Terny, but were driven away by approaching units of Russian forces. The Ukrainian units were pushed back to the west bank near #Ivanovka. At nightfall, the Ukrainian forces launched another attack on the village of #Terny and #Yampolovka.

▪️ Ukrainian Forces are building up their offensive grouping and hastily moving units from around #Seversk and #Soledar, reserves from #Slavyansk and #Kramatorsk. They have to partially denude the direction of #Soledar, where units of the PMC Wagner, the LPR and the DPR are advancing.

The #Bakhmut (#Artemovsk) Direction:

▪️ Wagner PMC assault units are fighting fiercely on the outskirts of #Bakhmut and #Soledar, as well as in the villages of #Zaitsevo and #Otradovka on the southern flank of this section of the front.

▪️ The 3rd Brigade of the DPR People´s Militia is fighting in the #Gorlovka suburb of #Majorsk.

#Lugansk Region:

Ukrainian militants hit civilian infrastructure in #Severodonetsk, #Lysychansk and #Kremennaya.

#Donetsk Direction:

▪️ The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue shelling residential areas in #Donetsk agglomeration from positions in #Nevelskoye and #Avdeevka.

#Zaporozhye Direction:

Artillery duels continue in Zaporozhye region. Russiand Forces suppressed enemy positions in #Nikopol and #Marganets, from where the enemy is shelling the #Zaporozhye NPP.

Four tanks, two BMPs and a build-up of AFU personnel were destroyed in the village of #Andreevka.

#Dnipropetrovsk Region:

#Kursk Region:

▪️ Ukrainian militants shelled the border village of #Guevo in #Kursk region, damaging residential buildings, a grocery shop and power lines. Five civilians, including three children, were injured.

#Lugansk People's Republic:

▪️ Ukrainian militants hit a service station in #Severodonetsk and residential buildings in #Svatovo with HIMARS MLRS.

#Poltava Region:

▪️ Russian Geran-2 kamikaze drones hit the warehouses of Novaya Pochta on the southern outskirts of #Poltava, allegedly containing military cargo. A large fire broke out at the facility.

#Starobelsk Direction:

▪️ In the #Kupyansk area, AFU units tried to storm Russian positions near the village of #Yagodnoye. They managed to gain a foothold on the outskirts of the settlement, but Russian forces counterattacked, throwing the enemies back to their initial positions.

▪️ In the #Lyman sector, AFU formations, supported by eight equipment units, tried to advance from a bridgehead near #Yampolovka towards #Kremennaya. Russian forces spotted the enemy's concentration and launched a preemptive strike, disrupting the Ukrainian attack.

#Donetsk Direction (MAP):

▪️ With the redeployment of AFU reinforcements to the combat zone, the pace of the Russian forces' advance has slowed. Soldiers of the Eastern Military District Marine Corps and DPR OBTF fighters are trying to finally drive the enemy out of the northern outskirts of #Pavlovka.

▪️ Fighting continues near #Novomikhailovka. Russian fighters are entrenched in positions taken in previous days and are repelling counterattacks by Ukrainian formations.

▪️ In the morning, Ukrainian militants shelled Donetsk, killing two women. They also hit #Yelenovka, #Makeevka and #Gorlovka.

#Zaporozhye Direction:

▪️ There are artillery duels along the frontline. Russian forces shelled enemy positions in #Orekhov, #Gulyaypole and Malaya Tokmachka. They also hit targets in #Nikopol and #Chervonogrigorovka, from where Ukrainian militants are shelling #Energodar and the #Zaporozhye NPP.

#Nikolaev - #Berislav Direction on Southern Front:

▪️ Ukrainian militants fired 18 HIMARS MLRS missiles at the #Kherson ferry crossing. 12 were intercepted by air defences, the rest fell into the water near the Antonovsky bridge.

▪️ Late in the evening, Ukrainian militants shelled the #Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant once again. A large fire broke out in the area of the facility, while the hydraulic structures sustained no damage.

▪️ At night, Russian kamikaze drones Geran-2 hit targets in northern Krivoy Rog. After the strike, the city experienced power outages.
