The forces of the 46th Separate Airmobile Brigade attempted to storm the Russian positions near the village of #Sadok. Russian Forces repulsed the attack and destroyed three tanks and two BMPs.

The highlight of the day was a series of strikes against energy infrastructure across Ukraine, including #Kiev. around 200 air- and sea-launched cruise missiles and a number of bomber munitions were fired at the targets.
During the attack, thermal power plants, substations and combined heat and power plants were hit in the eastern, central and western regions. Water and electricity supplies failed completely in some areas. Ukrainian air defences shot down several targets from the air, but were unable to repel the attack.
#Russian Federation - Border Areas:
▪️ Ukrainian militants shelled #Konoplyanovka, #Shebekino and #Masychevo in the #Belgorod region and the village of #Tetkino in the #Kursk region. One woman was killed and several others were wounded.
▪️ In the evening in #Crimea, an air defence system worked in the area of the airfield near #Dzhankoy. The wreckage of the vehicle fell on a residential building and injured one of the residents.
#Starobelsk Direction:
▪️ In the #Kupyansk area, units of the 14th AFU Brigade continue their offensive against Russian defensive positions at the #Olshany - #Pershotravnevoye line.

▪️ At the same time, yesterday, in the 35th AFU Brigade, several dozen men of the 137th Battalion refused to advance on #Bruskinskoye. And on 5 October, 66 servicemen of the 88th Battalion left #Belogorka on their own. The main reason for refusing orders was to send the men to slaughter.
▪️ Ukrainian Forces are busy crossing the #Ingulets river to supply the Ukrainian grouping. Another pontoon has been erected north of Davydov Brod, reducing work elsewhere.
▪️ Ammunition was delivered to the vicinity of Belaya Krinitsa and an AN/TPQ-50 counterbattery radar was deployed near #Andreevka.
▪️ Due to losses among the units of the 46th Brigade, the personnel of the 74th Separate Reconnaissance Battalion of the AFU was transferred to Davydov Brod.

The Russian Armed Forces have again struck Ukraine's energy infrastructure. Today, targets were hit in #Sumy and #Dnipropetrovsk regions. Compared to the previous two days, the salvos were less massive, but work to overload the country's energy system continues.
#RussianFederation Territories:
▪️ The AFU shelled #Belgorod several times during the day, but all strikes were repelled by Russian air defences.
#Starobelsk Direction (MAP):
▪️ In the #Kupyansk direction, the enemy continued its offensive against the positions of the Russian Forces near #Olshany, where the 14th AFU Brigade was able to entrench around the village. At the same time, the enemy attacked on the line #Pershotravnevoye - #Orlyanka on order to reach #Olshany from the flank.
▪️ In the course of the day, fierce fighting took place around #Kislovka. Ukrainian formations initially gained control of the village, but then the Russian forces regained their lost positions. The enemy, in turn, suffered heavy losses of personnel and equipment.
▪️ In the #Tavolzhansky sector, the AFU hold a position defence and rotate their personnel. Russian Forces are engaging the enemy with massive firepower.
▪️ South in the #Lyman - #Svatovo section, Ukrainian formations tried to cross the #Zherebets River at #Raygorodka, #Karmazinovka, #Rozovka, #Novolyubovka and #Makeevka, but suffered losses and retreated.
#Soledar Direction:
▪️ The AFU command is preparing for another Russian offensive in the #Kodema - #Kurdyumovka and #Klinovoye - Krasnaya Gora areas, which if successful would result in the blockade of #Bakhmut (#Artemovsk) from the northeast and south.
▪️ Position fighting continues in the outskirts of #Bakhmut and #Soledar. Russian Forces launched missile strikes on an AFU position near #Bakhmut railway station.

▪️ After their arrival, the Ukrainian formations equipped a forward control post and replaced the forces of the 59th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade at the Stepovaya Dolina - Posad-Pokrovskoye line. The forward positions are equipped with ATGMs and man-portable air defence systems (MANPADS).

#Belarus Direction (MAP):
The Ukrainian command is expecting a possible offensive by the Russian Forces from the side of #Belarus.
▪️ In the village of #Derevnaya, #Minsk region, a citizen of the Republic of #Belarus passes data on the movement of Russian and Belarusian military personnel to Ukraine.

▪️ In the #Svatovo sector, 1 BTGr of the 71st Jager Brigade attempted an offensive towards #Chernopopovka, but retreated to their initial positions after losing several tanks and combat vehicles.

#Lugansk People's Republic:

#Donetsk Direction:
▪️ Ukrainian militants have again hit #Gorlovka, #Ilovaysk, #Makeyevka, #Yasynuvata and Krasny Partizan. An aluminium profile factory in #Donetsk came under fire.
#Zaporozhye Direction (MAP):
▪️ Russian forces conducted several missile strikes on the Motor Sich plant in #Zaporozhye, where various components for the Ukrainian defence industry are produced.
▪️ Ukrainian militants, in turn, shelled the #Zaporozhye nuclear power plant again. Enemy shells landed in the area of the dry storage facility for spent nuclear fuel.
▪️ Ukrainian forces continue to accumulate reserves in the area, with personnel and equipment arriving at #Volnyansk, #Preobrazhenka and #Zaporozhye.
#Kherson Direction on Southern Front (MAP):
▪️ Russian forces destroyed an AFU fuel depot near the shipyard on Quarantine Island (Karantinny Ostrov) in #Kherson.
▪️ The enemy continues to entrench on the right bank of the #Dnipro River. Ukrainian Territorial Defence units were moved to #Belozerkha and #Novokaira.
▪️ The 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade of the AFU has crossed the #Ingulets at Daryevsky Bridge and occupied the and occupied the #Nikolskoye - #Novotyaginka line.
▪️ Ukrainian authorities announced the evacuation of #Kherson.
