⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Battle for Kherson: Situation in the #Berislav Area at 11:00 on 4 Oct 2022⚡️
Ukrainian formations established control over the northern part of the village of #Dudchany in the second half of October 3. AFU assault groups infiltrated gaps in the Russian Forces' sparse defences and then pushed the Russian Forces back using superior manpower and equipment.
▪️ A combined battalion tactical group of the 128 Brigade and the 17 Brigade of the AFU continued the offensive against #Dudchany in the evening of 3 October. More than 35 tanks, about 15 BMPs and 12 Kozak armoured vehicles were involved in the storming of the Russian positions.
▪️ During the ongoing fighting, Russian Airborne troops, supported by aircraft and artillery, hit more than a dozen vehicles.
▪️ Nevertheless, the Ukrainian militants, taking advantage of their multiple numerical superiority, managed to push through the defensive lines in the village of #Dudchany and gain a foothold in the northern part of the settlement. The Russian units wthdrew from their positions and blew up the bridge over the reservoir.
▪️ Overnight, Ukrainian formations have begun to entrench themselves on the #Novodmitrovka - #Chervonoye - #Dudchany line. Starlink satellite communication systems are deployed at forward checkpoints.
▪️ In the morning of 4 October, the Ukrainian command intends to continue the offensive in the direction of #Mylovoye. At the same time, the Ukrainian Forces plan to storm the Russian Forces' positions near Bolshaya Aleksandrovka, where the forces of the 96th Battalion of the 63rd Brigade of the AFU are being deployed.
The Ukrainian command will certainly build on the successes it has achieved in the #Arkhangelskoye and #Dudchany areas. The obvious goal of the AFU is to cut off the Russian grouping on the right bank of the #Dnipro river.
It is likely that the assault will be carried out simultaneously in several sections of the front, including Davidov Brod.

Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian formations managed to gain a foothold at two passages through the canal near #Petrovskoye. Full control of the area will allow to block the Posad-Pokrovskoye - #Kiselevka highway and develop the advance in the direction of #Kherson.

Near #Petropavlovka, a position room is being set up for barrel, self-propelled and reactive artillery of the 60th Infantry Brigade Artillery Group.
The Engineer forces of the 60th Brigade are setting up strongholds on the #Trifonovka - Novaya Kamenka line, where two companies of the Brigade's 98th Battalion will arrive in the morning.
The Ukrainian command is regrouping its forces ahead of the planned offensive over the next 24 hours.
It is likely that sabotage groups of the AFU will continue their sorties in the most vulnerable parts of the front during the night, and a new stage of the offensive on #Kherson and Novaya Kakhovka will begin in the morning.

▪️ 93 units of military equipment were moved across the crossings to evacuate damaged equipment and build up the grouping on the left bank of the #Ingulets River. 104 units followed in the opposite direction.
▪️ On the evening of 8 October, the command of the 60th Infantry Brigade sent a mobile SRG to the area of #Pyatikhatki village to "probe" the defensive lines of the Russian Forces.

▪️ At the same time, yesterday, in the 35th AFU Brigade, several dozen men of the 137th Battalion refused to advance on #Bruskinskoye. And on 5 October, 66 servicemen of the 88th Battalion left #Belogorka on their own. The main reason for refusing orders was to send the men to slaughter.
▪️ Ukrainian Forces are busy crossing the #Ingulets river to supply the Ukrainian grouping. Another pontoon has been erected north of Davydov Brod, reducing work elsewhere.
▪️ Ammunition was delivered to the vicinity of Belaya Krinitsa and an AN/TPQ-50 counterbattery radar was deployed near #Andreevka.
▪️ Due to losses among the units of the 46th Brigade, the personnel of the 74th Separate Reconnaissance Battalion of the AFU was transferred to Davydov Brod.

The commanders of the 59th Motorized Infantry Brigade and the 28th Mechanized Rifle Brigade are preparing for an offensive against Russian positions.

🩸 The AFU command continues to move infantry units and equipment into the #Berislav area ahead of the next phase of the offensive against #Kherson.
