⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Frontline #Summary for the Morning of 16 March 2024; pub. 10:02⚡️
🔹On the #Zaporozhye Front, the RF Armed Forces continue to exchange artillery strikes and conduct positional battles with the AFU in #Rabotino. The Ukrainians are ⚠️unable to dislodge the Russian troops from the village. Between #Rabotino and #Verbovye, there are also mainly counter battles, but the RF AFU has the initiative there. (Fig. 1)
🔹On the #Donetsk Front, the counterattacks of the AFU are losing their activity, which indicates either a difficult situation and lack of reserves, or that the time gained by the transfer of additional forces was enough for the Ukrainians to strengthen the defensive line, to which they are preparing to withdraw.
🟡 In the area of #Novomikhaylovka, #Krasnogorovka and #Pervomayskoye, the RF Armed Forces were conducting assault operations and there were ⚠️tactical successes.
🟡 On the #Tonenkoye - #Orlovka - #Berdychi line, the initiative has again passed to the Russian forces. There are ⚠️advances in all three localities, and between #Orlovka and #Berdychi there are signs that the AFU are pulling back their forces towards #Semyonovka. Whether this is a planned manoeuvre or a retreat due to possible encirclement will become clear after the final liberation of these settlements. (Fig. 2)
🔹In the #Bakhmut Direction, the RF Armed Forces are assaulting in the area of #Bogdanovka. In #Ivanovskoye (#Krasnoye), positional battles, the AFU continue to hold positions on the western outskirts of the settlement. Russian artillery and aviation are actively working in the rear of the AFU. (Fig. 3)
🔹On the #Kharkov and #Sumy Directions, the AFU conducted long range strikes on the territory of the #Kursk and #Belgorod regions throughout the day. The main activity unfolded in the area of #Tyotkino and #Spodaryushino. It should be noted that after ⚠️unsuccessful attempts to break through to the border with large forces, the AFU again switched to attacks in small groups, probing our defences. At the same time, the RF Armed Forces' aviation and artillery are destroying moving equipment and personnel of the enemy, who is probably bringing up new forces for the next major attack. (Fig. 4)

🔹On the #Zaporozhye Front, there are oncoming battles in #Rabotino and northwest of #Verbovoye, where the RF Armed Forces are consolidating their positions that were ⚠️taken from the AFU. Both sides are striking with long range weapons. (Fig. 1)
🔹On the #Donetsk Front, fierce fighting is taking place on the #Tonenkoye - #Orlovka - #Berdychi line. The RF Armed Forces continue to press the enemy, but ⚠️the advance of the Russian troops cannot be called rapid.
📌 Firstly, this is due to the fierce resistance offered by the AFU in this area, and secondly, due to the actions of the RF Armed Forces leadership, who are trying to preserve their personnel, avoiding frontal attacks if possible. (Fig. 2)
🔹In the #Kharkov and #Sumy Direction, the AFU has again returned to the tactics of small groups. SRGs periodically attempt to infiltrate into #Tyotkino and #Kozinka in groups of 6-8 men, but ⚠️no results from these operations have been observed so far.
💥 Ukrainian artillery continues to launch massive strikes on the territory of #Belgorod and #Kursk regions, killing civilians and damaging civilian infrastructure. The attacks have become a daily occurrence, and air defence alone cannot solve the problem.
📌 Competent and operational counterbattery warfare is needed in this area. (Fig. 3)

🔹On the #Zaporozhye Front, heavy fighting continues in #Rabotino. The AFU are again bringing fresh forces into the battle in an attempt to dislodge the RF Armed Forces from the shattered village. ⚠️Without success. Northwest of #Verbovoye, oncoming battles. (Fig. 1)
🔹The Donetsk Front continues to be the scene of active offensives by the Russian Army. The AFU was finally ⚠️knocked out of #Orlovka. The possibility of a counterattack cannot be ruled out. The RF Armed Forces also ⚠️advanced in #Tonenkoye, where the AFU found themselves in an extremely difficult situation, #Pervomayskoye and #Novomikhaylovka.
🟡 In #Krasnogorovka, the AFU fiercely ⚠️repulsed the Russian forces, not only preventing them from advancing, but also counterattacking quite successfully, ⚠️regaining their previously lost positions.

🗓 On Tuesday 19 Mar 2024, the capture of #Orlovka by the RFAF was officially 👉 announced. A confirmation of the other side is still missing.
❗️It seems that the village is not fully captured:
🗺 According to Google Maps there is a separated part west of the Village, see maps.👆This part is not also marked as occupied in Rybar's latest map, also not in Petrenko's map (I added 2 green arrows).
💬 West of #Avdeyevka, Russian units have gained a foothold in #Orlovka, the Two Majors wrote in today's Morning Report.
📌 If Google Map is right, the village is strategical captured, but not in its geographical borders. The letter is decisive as we know from #Soledar and #Bakhmut. Ukraine can rightly deny the loss. This is all irrelevant to the operational strategic situation!

🔹On the #Donetsk Front, Russian troops are pressing the AFU on the #Tonenkoye - #Orlovka - #Berdychi line. There are ⚠️advances in the area of #Tonenkoye, where the AFU left the territory of dachas. On the same line, the RF Armed Forces are developing ⚠️success in the area of #Orlovka. In #Berdychi, the Ukrainian forces are still putting up serious resistance, but the Russian forces are not giving up their attempts to advance from the eastern side of this settlement. (Fig. 2)

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Frontline #Summary for the Morning of 26 March 2024; pub. 08:08⚡️
🔹On the #Zaporozhye Front, at the #Rabotin - #Verbovoye line, the RF Armed Forces continue to pressurise Ukrainian positions. The AFU remotely mine the approaches to their positions in order to impede the advance of Russian troops. Long range weapons are actively working. In #Rabotino itself, without changes. There are fierce oncoming battles, where neither side has yet achieved an obvious advantage. (Fig. 1)
🔹On the #Donetsk Front, the RF Armed Forces ⚠️have advanced in #Novomikhaylovka, capturing almost the entire eastern part of the village. At the same time, Russian troops ⚠️are advancing towards the village from the south. In the #Pobeda area, in #Georgiyevka, on the southern approaches to #Krasnogorovka and in the area of #Nevelskoye, there were counter battles. In #Pervomayskoye, the AFU is stubbornly holding the line, offering serious resistance, but the RF Armed Forces are ⚠️still gradually pushing through the Ukrainian defence, taking more and more new positions. In the central part of the town, fighting is ongoing.
🟡 In the area of #Tonenkoye, Russian troops continue to develop their offensive in the direction of #Umanskoye and #Yasnobrodovka (⚠️advance). Fierce fighting on the outskirts of #Semyonovka, where the RF Armed Forces are attacking from the direction of #Orlovka and from the section between #Orlovka and #Berdychi, trying to take control of the road supplying the Ukrainian garrison in this town. (Fig. 2).
🔹In #Bakhmut Direction. Russian forces have been assaulting in the area of #Kleshcheyevka, and continue to develop their offensive towards Chasov Yar south of #Bagdanovka and along the heights north of #Ivanovskoye (#Krasnoye). In the latter settlement, the AFU tried to counterattack on the western outskirts. ⚠️Without success. (Fig. 3)
