Amnesty International: More than 760,000 people around the world want the establishment of a UN investigation mechanism regarding the violent actions of the Iranian government against protesters.

Amnesty International announced in a report today, Thursday, that more than 760,000 people in 218 countries of the world have signed a petition demanding the establishment of an independent investigative mechanism by the United Nations in order to hold the Iranian government accountable for the most serious actions that are considered crimes according to the principles of international law.

In this report, the UN Human Rights Council is also asked to immediately convene a special meeting regarding Iran to prevent the violent actions of the government such as killing, torture and other illegal actions against all those who have been detained by the Iranian authorities since the beginning of the protests. .

Amnesty International says that these violent actions of the Iranian government are considered crimes based on the principles of international law and human rights.
