Aleppo City Council calls on people and private sector companies, including contractors, who have vehicles and to mobilize and support the public sector institutions and service directorates and contribute to rescue operations, especially in popular neighborhoods.

Initial death toll exceeded 50 deaths in Aleppo and its countryside due to the earthquake along with dozens of injuries.

Several buildings have fallen in #Aleppo, #Idlib, #Lattakia #Homs and #Hama governorates.

Rescue teams are still searching for survivors under collapsed buildings.

Sea water retreated 20 meters after the earthquake, while the he European Mediterranean Center for Seismological Monitoring says that they are assessing the possibility of giant tsunami waves.

In its continuous retaliation to the terrorist attacks on #SyrianArabArmy points, #Russian warplanes carried out several airstrikes this morning , targeting terrorist headquarters in Batna town on the road between Maarat Misrin and Sheikh Bahr village, north of #Idlib.

Local sources and activists reported that 6 terrorists were killed and 11 others were injured from "Talha Brigade Special Forces" of Al-Nusra Front, in addition to the destruction of vehicles and equipment, following 5 raids targeted their headquarters between 10:30 and 11:00 am today.

Ironically, one of the killed terrorists was "Ahmed Abu Sataif" who used to run an "observatory" for terrorists, where its mission actually lies in detecting all types of military movements, such as warplanes and artillery

Simultaneously, Syrian Arab Army artillery targeted terrorists positions in towns of Ahsim and Kansafra on Al-Zawiya mountain axes and the towns of Al-Wasata, al-Qasr and Atarib in #Aleppo western countryside.
