You're welcome to today's session of the training on the topic "how to create a business website & online store"

We are to continue from where we stop yesterday

Let's see how we can add service items to our store. We will still use the same shop we created "Demo Store" but this this we need to convert from product store category to service shop category by clicking on change category button to bring out change category modal

Now to add a product we click on "Add Item" button on the administrative buttons section to open add services item modal

Product item form contains:
• image button for product image uploading
• name field
• amount field (optional if negotiable)
• short description field
• long description field
• add now button

Note all fields are required except amount if negotiable

We've now successfully added two services items to the website store and the store status section we can see 2 total items

We can add as many product items as possible

Note:
Only administrator of the website can edit and delete any service item by click on the edit and delete buttons respectively below the product and also click review button

We promised to look into event management category but we might add another category if time permit

In addition, if you are new here please take time to go through the previous lessons so you can be updated with today's lesson

Event management has two items categories but category(ies) can be added

The categories are:
• events
• event centres

To view/add category(ies), click on category button from the administrative buttons setion

Now let's add events items

In events add item form consists of
• image button
• title field
• amount (optional)
• category
• description

In the category field, if event centers is selected then three (3) additional fields appear which are:
• billing
• features button
• features lists

Billing is either per day or per hour

Features button is either radio or checkbox

Note:
Radio is when a customers booking for the center is expected to choose only one feature but in checkbox a customer can choose more than one feature

In the category field, if events is selected then three (3) additional fields appear which are:
• phone numbers (each number in a new line)
• number of days
• add anchor button

In number of days field, if 1 is entered three (3) fields appear:
• venue
• date
• time

In number of days field, if number entered is more than 1 then a field (same venue?) appears.

On the "Same Venue?" field, if "Yes" is selected, one (1) venue field and, date and time fields appear according to the number of days but if "No" is selected, then venue, date and time fields appear according to the number of days

Example in the image here, three days is entered and "Yes" then since the 3 day event will be done at the same venue so only one (1) venue field appears and three (3) date and time fields appear in accordance with the number of days entered

Note:
The difference between events items category and event centers items category is the for events category is for events like seminars, crusades, workshops, etc while event centers category is for event venues

As we can see that time doesn't permit us to add another shop category. We sincerely apologise for that
