वार्षिक शिक्षा रिपोर्ट (ASER), 2022 👇🏻

हाल ही में NGO प्रथम द्वारा 17वीं वार्षिक शिक्षा रिपोर्ट (ASER), 2022 जारी की गई, जो शिक्षा पर महामारी के प्रभाव पर प्रकाश डालती है।
रिपोर्ट में स्कूलों में बच्चों के उच्च नामांकन का खुलासा किया गया है जो निपुण भारत मिशन  जैसे सरकारी कार्यक्रमों के लिये एक अच्छा प्रदर्शन संकेतक है।
शिक्षा की वार्षिक स्थिति रिपोर्ट (ASER):  

ASER एक वार्षिक, नागरिक-नेतृत्त्व वाला घरेलू सर्वेक्षण है जिसका उद्देश्य यह समझना है कि ग्रामीण भारत में बच्चे स्कूल में नामांकित हैं या नहीं और क्या वे सीख रहे हैं। 
ASER भारत के सभी ग्रामीण ज़िलों में वर्ष 2005 से प्रत्येक वर्ष आयोजित किया जाता है। यह भारत में नागरिकों के नेतृत्त्व वाला सबसे बड़ा सर्वेक्षण है।

ASER सर्वेक्षण 3-16 वर्ष की आयु के बच्चों की नामांकन स्थिति और 5-16 वर्ष की आयु के बच्चों को राष्ट्रीय, राज्य और ज़िला स्तर पर बुनियादी शिक्षा एवं अंकगणितीय स्तर के प्रतिनिधि अनुमान उपलब्ध कराता है। 


सरकारी स्कूलों में नामांकन: 
ASER 2022 के अनुसार, देश में सरकारी स्कूलों में बच्चों के नामांकन में वृद्धि देखी गई है।
बुनियादी शिक्षा और अंकगणितीय कौशल:
भारत में कक्षा 3 और कक्षा 5 में छोटे बच्चों की बुनियादी शिक्षा एवं अंकगणितीय कौशल में गिरावट आई है।  
नामांकित लड़कियों का अनुपात:
स्कूलों में गैर-नामांकित 11-14 आयु वर्ग की लड़कियों के अनुपात में 2018 के 4.1% से 2022 में 2% की कमी एक महत्त्वपूर्ण सुधार और सकारात्मक विकास है।
यह इंगित करता है कि शिक्षा में लैंगिक समानता को बढ़ावा देने के प्रयास प्रभावी रहे हैं और इससे स्कूलों में लड़कियों के नामांकन को बढ़ाने में मदद मिली है।

There is definitely a quantitative expansion of education in India but the qualitative front (essential for a student to get a job) is lagging behind.
How can the Indian Higher Education System be Revolutionized?
Implementation of National Education Policy (NEP): The implementation of the NEP can help shake the education system from its slumber.
Moving away from the current 10+2 system to a 5+3+3+4 system will bring the pre-school age group formally into the education set-up.
Education-Employment Corridor: India's educational setup needs to be enhanced by integrating vocational learning with mainstream education and providing right mentorship at school (especially in government schools) to ensure that students are guided in the right direction from the start and are aware of career opportunities.
Taking a Note from Past to Future: It is important to look to the future while keeping our long-established roots in mind.
The ancient evaluation of education was not restricted to grading thematic knowledge. Students were assessed on the skills they learned and how well they can apply practical knowledge to real-life situations.
The modern education system can also devise similar systems of assessment.
