Options one have after qualifying NET JRF exam

1. Admission in universities for PhD:

If you get admitted in IIT's, one can avail fellowship of almost 25K.
NET is one of the eligibility for admission in PhD

There are few state universities where you are exempted for entrance examination and get directly admitted in university for M.Phill or PhD on the basis of NET

2. If one have qualified JRF, you avail fellowship of 31K + Allowance .
It is minimum criteria for admission in IIM's for PhD

Validity of JRF is three years: One need to AVAIL JRF within 3 years only (meaning thereby getting admitted in any institute for PhD )

3. NET is minimum eligibility for Assistant Professor

4. One can avail opportunities for employment in PSU, as PSU hire on the basis of NET score.
