2. Toa Payoh: Toa Payoh MRT Station, one of Singapore's first MRT stations that opened in 1987.
3. Yishun: Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, also known as “a hospital in a garden”. The hospital was the winner of the inaugural Stephen R. Kellert Biophilic Design Award for seamless integration for living with nature.
4. Jurong West: Boon Lay Place Market and Food Village underwent a revamp in 2003 to give it a distinct Asian village look.
