Through this conversation and through prioritizing the points we are making, we are collaborating in co-creating new realities and ways where trafficking is not profitable or suitable for traffickers anymore.

We think that if people are experiencing physical harm in spaces we believe to be safe and supportive, we want to make sure their voices can be heard and their experiences included in open conversation.

If we do not do this, how could we know that our spaces are truly safe and supportive for others?

If we are willing for people to experience terrible invisible violence in our spaces, as long as we don't know about it, as long as it's not our problem personally, what does that mean about our choices and the ramifications for our spaces?

This reminds us of work we've been doing and important things we've been learning about how to support the movement to safeguard Indigenous women and children.
