' "We The Unhoused is a podcast that lifts the voices and struggles of the unhoused in LA and beyond.
Host Theo Henderson is currently unhoused and resides in Chinatown, Los Angeles.
He tackles issues such as police brutality, harassment, policy, and the survival challenges of unhoused people. " '

' Whether you identify with having a disability or impairment, a health condition, or are disabled, there are people wanting to collect your stories and document your process, your life, yours experiences in light of the pandemic. A lot of it is living in the social media-verse. When we talk about representation in the media, it’s not just about TV shows and movies or even social media. It’s also about journalism, and it’s about the ways that privately, within our communities, or publicly, we document. '

By what steps do we restore economic independence, media privilege, and professional authority to survivors of severe disability, violence, and sex trafficking?
' A few months ago, we announced that we were hiring for a new kind of position: engagement reporter. Engagement is often used as a kind of euphemism for a social media gig or equated with thinking solely about getting the biggest audience. We’ve been thinking of something different: a journalist who specializes in building and cultivating communities to both deepen our reporting and to galvanize responses to it. They would operate as a kind of journalistic community organizer, who is member of investigative projects from the get-go and uses whatever tools fit best β€” online or off.

We’ve since hired two fabulous journalists as ProPublica’s first engagement reporters. '

' RACISM in the USA (and hatred towards minority peoples worldwide) is a painful problem with historical roots. For world change, if you notice a tendency in yourself or others to hurt minorities, please S T O P IT....STOP ACTING SUPERIOR TO OTHERS. AND INSTEAD LEARN TO RELATE and SUPPORT OTHERS FOR A BETTER WORLD '

Vesper Moore's post, including this article by Stefanie Lyn Kaufman-Mthimkhulu vehemently supported by community members:

' We need more peer support and community response networks. We need to put power back into the hands of the people. We need the people most impacted to not only give input but to run and be responsible for the inception of all system services. We need those who are marginalized to take the lead in each community not out of expectation or tokenization but humanization.

β€œReplace the cops with mental health workers!” is a really well-intentioned statement, but the current mental health system is also a white-dominated, violent, coercive, and unaccountable structure that disproportionately harms people of color.” β€” Morgan M. Page '

Glad tidings! Please share my posts widely. ✨🌞✨

Please urgently and repeatedly encourage the people around you to follow these messages and examine them more closely.

@IntuitivePublicRadio and this @IntuitiveCommunity network urgently need responses from others -- each and every single day.

The dying people working for $0 and zero acknowledgement in this network *deserve* responses from others -- each and every single day.

We need people to publicly support, share, and ask others to look more closely at what we're doing.

I continue working in public to prevent the (needless!!!) deaths of our black, brown, indigenous, severely disabled, queer, trans, autistic, neurodivergent, violently intersectionalized and multiply marginalized community members.

I hope that people who care about me will follow, inquire, and share prolifically in public.

Are you struggling and feeling hopeless about something?

There is a morale-strengthening, immunologically-reparative, income-generating role for you in this network that *much* more effectively gets your own needs met, regarding whatever you might be feeling hopeless about right now. (Try me.)

Please, for all our lives and safety -- I beg you to investigate.

Here are the beginning of today's messages on the subject: https://t.me/s/MaxMoRadio/1469

For caring, supportive one-on-one assistance to participate in a way that saves lives today (!) and solves your own most pressing problems at the same time (!!), consult with me (with or without money).

Thanks for reading.
