港僑於5月24日在Elmwood Presbyterian Church舉辦了社區聚會，當天聚集了不少香港人和當地居民，同時邀請了Lisburn & Castlereagh City council 的市長Alderman Stephen Martin (“Mr. Mayor")蒞臨參與這次的活動。我希望能藉這次機會感謝以下有份出席的嘉賓:

Friendly Football Match - Hongkongers vs Britons

2月11日下午，香港人於友誼足球賽迎戰北愛居民。香港人隊有不少親友捧場，吶喊助威，氣氛不俗！

比賽初段，雙方互有攻守。不得不表揚香港人隊中一名年輕小將，技術出眾，屢次妙射，大演帽子戲法，令對方門將鞭長莫及。但北愛居民隊實力不容忽視，他們發揮超強默契，半場休息後已經控制戰局。最終大勝 15 比 4 完埸。

喜見雙方球員投入比賽，在過程中展現體育精神和尊重對手，這絕對比賽果更加重要。

A friendly football match was held in the afternoon of 11 February where Hongkongers took on Britons. It was a lively atmosphere as some Hongkongers came to support their friends and relatives.

At the outset, both sides were neck and neck and the Hongkongers’ team created a number of shooting opportunities. We couldn’t help but praise an outstanding Hongkonger teenager. His hat-trick made the opponent's goalkeeper find the ball at the back of the net several times.

Above all, we were glad to see that every player gave their all into the match, respected one another and demonstrated great sportsmanship.
