是次放映會與Amnesty Leeds University合辦，活動將放映之影片紀錄著由蘋果日報、香港電台到香港記者協會、立場新聞，香港的新聞自由如何一步一步被打壓、被消滅。記者在極權打壓下被以國家安全之名為由起訴、拘留和逮捕。更請來無綫前主播報導員王俊彥拍片分享，講解香港主流媒體如何配合香港政府，以無線新聞利用不同的偏頗字眼去影響觀眾對香港政治運動的觀感。另外，亦會講述中國公民記者張展，由參與維權活動被註銷律師執照，到報導武漢肺炎的真相而被判入獄等事件。讓參與者了解中國與香港之新聞自由被打壓之實況。

英國時間2月12日約下午1時，有移英港人在列斯發起「The Erosion of Press Freedom in Hong Kong and China」放映會，活動大約有80人參與，除移英港人外，亦有當地人到場參與。
放映內容包括《蘋果日報》被倒閉片段、《眾新聞》停運、《鏗鏘集-721元朗黑夜》、由前TVB記者王俊彥講述香港現況片段、因報導武漢疫情而被捕的國內公民記者張展片段及Kingston 人鏈集會片段。
另外亦有 Leeds University Amnsety International 成員到場講述組織內容等。

約克郡及亨伯區「歡迎香港人計劃」邀請英國港僑協會於
3月2日中午12 時至下午1時 30分與計劃的負責人 Ewa
Jamroz 對話，以表達移民英國港人的需要。為此，我們
將進行一次網上意見收集及一次實體聚會意見收集（詳見
下文），讓末能參與當日會議的在英港人可以提供意見，
我們收集意見後會整理並於3月2日提出。
The Yorkshire and Humber Welcome Hong Kong
Programme invites Hongkongers in Britain to have an
open discussion with Ewa Jamró, the Head of the
Welcome Hong Kong Programme on 2nd March from
12:00pm to 1:30 pm, to explore and discuss the needs of
Hongkongers moving to the UK. Considering that some
Hongkongers might not be available to join the
discussion, HKB will conduct one online and one face-
