3 years ago today, there was a huge protest all around #HongKong. Honestly, looking back, it feels like we've lost more than we've gain. But, who's still here with us?

National Security Chief, Choi Chin-pang, was caught in a brothel, but #HK judge still pleaded him innocent. The judge said it was hard to prove that the spa was "completely" used as a brothel. This shows how corrupted & hypocritical the judges are in HK.

Hong Kong Gov’t and Hong Kong Police target the homeless when pro-democrats are silence.

On July 10th, 7 people representing homeless families protested for more assistance from the Hong Kong Gov’t. Instead of having conversation with officials, they were surrounded by 10 police and was warned not to threaten National Security.

The next day, July 11, Deputy Chief of Administration, Warner Check Wing-hing, proposed to empower officers from Food and Environmental Hygene Department to confiscate anything that takes up public spaces including personal belongings from the homeless.

Since National Security Law was established, most pro-democrats politicians were either silenced or arrested. The check and balance within the legislation has been vanished. Therefore, minorities in Hong Kong have has only become more helpless.

Nathan Law’s parents and brother was interrogated the day after Hong Kong Police announced a bounty for him and 7 others.

Many people questioned the effectiveness for the bounty since many cities have ended extradition with Hong Kong when National Security Law was passed. However, arresting Nathan Law’s relatives in Hong Kong surprised a lot of people.

Since Nathan Law has left Hong Kong to United Kingdom, he announced he has disconnected with his family and will not contact them in the future. However, this move has failed to keep his family safe.

Nathan Law is accused for the crime of inciting secession and colluding with foreign countries or foreign forces to endanger national security.

“We saw the repression of the citizens — more than one million citizens of Hong Kong took to the streets in pro-democracy movements over the space of a number of years and then we had the bounties on eight pro-democracy Hong Kong legislators,” she said. “Why would we be rolling out the red carpet and having a big celebration of their prowess?” said Margaret McCuaig-Johnston, a researcher at the University of Ottawa.

“I know that events such as this take a lot of meetings, a lot of discussion, surely someone at one of those meetings piped up and said, ‘These are Hong Kong police? We’re really having Hong Kong police at this event?’”

After the court rejected to ban the song “Glory to Hong Kong”, DOJ told the judge to follow the Chief Executive’s order. Maybe Hong Kong should consider not having a court at all.
