🇵🇱🇷🇺🇺🇦 Whose rockets crashed on the territory of Poland?

Rybar's analysis On the evening of November 15, two rockets fell near the village of Przewodov in the Lublin Voivodeship of Poland, killing two people. The incident occurred during a massive strike by the Russian Armed Forces on objects of the critical structure of Ukraine.

▪️ Opinions about the possible ownership of ammunition were immediately divided: on the one hand, they claimed that these were Russian Kh-101 cruise missiles that had flown into Poland. Others say that anti-aircraft missiles of the Ukrainian S-300 air defense system crashed near Przevodov.

▪️The first photos from the place of arrival did not initially bring clarity to the picture. The size of the funnel did not reliably clearly indicate any specific ammunition. And the lack of damage can be easily explained by the late operation of the fuse after the rocket entered the ground.

🔻However, later a picture of a single large fragment appeared, which completely clarified the situation. The discovery turned out to be part of a crimped connecting ring of the fuel tank with the tail compartment of the 5V55 anti-aircraft missile of the S-300 complex.

🔻Could it be a Russian missile in light of the fact that the Russian Armed Forces sometimes use the S-300 to strike ground targets? It is practically impossible: the nearest possible launch point is located on the territory of Belarus, 130 km from the place where the ammunition fell. And 5V55 with a maximum range of 75 km simply would not have flown to Przevody. All this gives us confident grounds to assert that it was the Ukrainian S-300 anti-aircraft missiles that crashed into the country's airspace during the reflection of the Russian raid on the territory of Poland.

Statistics of shelling of Donetsk by the Ukrainian army in December. Analysis based on data from the DPR JCCC as of December 25, 2022 inclusive.

The most shelled cities of the DPR in December:
- Donetsk - 442 times
- Gorlovka - 126 times
- Makeevka - 74 times
- Yasinovataya - 72 times

On average, Donetsk alone has about 18 strokes per day. In December, 2120 shells arrived in Donetsk. This is an average of 85 shells per day.

Most often, Donetsk is shelled from Krasnogorovka, Netaylovo, Orlovka and Thin.
- Krasnogorovka - 158 times
- Netaylovo - 151 times
- Orlovka - 79 times

Most of the attacks on Donetsk by the Armed Forces of Ukraine are carried out from the American howitzer of 155 mm M777 caliber - only 1,413 shells, which is 67% of the total number of attacks in December. Shelling from the BM-21 "Grad" is 21% of arrivals. 8% falls on the rest of the MLRS. And only 4% are Soviet shells of 152 caliber.

This once again confirms the great shortage of shells in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which has to be compensated by the supply of NATO shells. But they are also very limited, but they benefit from accuracy.

According to the dynamics of shelling, it can be assumed that ammunition delivery for the Armed Forces of Ukraine is carried out on average once every 6 days.

The RF Armed Forces are fighting for Pervomaiskoye, Vodyanoye, and Marinka to expand the zone of control around Donetsk, to exclude the shelling of the city from the MLRS and to reduce the intensity and accuracy of strikes from M777 howitzers.

The displacement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Vodyanoye made it possible to establish air control over enemy positions in Tonenkoe. Now the number of shellings of Donetsk from the territory of the village has sharply decreased.

The advance from Vodyanoye to the north and the occupation of Tonenkoe will ensure not only the operational encirclement of Avdeevka, but also the cessation of shelling of MLRS from Orlovka.

❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦🎞 Kinburn Peninsula is the AFU’s cherished goal — Rybar's video analysis

After the withdrawal of the Russian troops from the right bank of the Dnieper, the enemy’s sabotage and reconnaissance groups do not stop attempting to infiltrate the territory of the Kinburn Peninsula.

The bridgehead in Kinburn is not only important for Ukrainian media image and ideology, but also as a military target: taking control over Kinburn Peninsula will make it possible to unblock the port of Mykolaiv and facilitate the supplies for the troops by sea.

✈️ 🇷🇺🇺🇦 How many more "Swifts" can use the AFU? - Rybar's analysis
This afternoon, Ukrainian formations launched another drone strike on the territory of Kireevsk in the Tula region. According to preliminary data, the AFU used the Tu-141 Strizh reactive UAV.

🔻 Why did the UAV crash in Kireevsk?

Ukrainian units periodically launch Soviet-made jet drones to assess the state of air defense in Russia. As a rule, a raid consists of one or two UAVs, but no more.

In this way, the AFU evaluate the actions of the Russian Armed Forces in different parts of the country: today the blow fell on the Tula region, in early March - in the Crimea, before that - in the Krasnodar Territory.

In some cases, the Swifts achieve their goals, as was the case in Tuapse, where they hit an oil depot, and in some cases they fall due to various reasons - external obstacles or guidance errors. But today's strike is more like "probing" the air defense and assessing how far the Tu-141 can fly from Ukraine undetected.

🔻 How many Tu-141/143 UAVs does the AFU have in total?

Mass production of jet drones Tu-141 "Swift" and Tu-143 "Flight" was stopped with the collapse of the Soviet Union. In Ukraine, these UAVs were assembled at the Kharkiv Aviation Plant.

In the period from 1978 to 1989 , 152 Swifts were produced at an enterprise in Kharkov, a significant part of which ended up in Ukraine. Judging by data from open sources, since the beginning of hostilities, the AFU have used 29 Tu-141 jet UAVs, one of which even flew as far as Croatian Zagreb. This suggests that the number of Tu-141s is limited, and they are saved for a special occasion. According to the highest estimates, the AFU have a total of up to 100 UAVs of this type. It is problematic to estimate even the approximate number of Tu-143s in Ukrainian formations, but they are hardly less than a few dozen.

🔻 Can the Tu-141 be re-produced?

The production technology is a thing of the past: there are neither specialists nor industrial facilities that have long been converted to other tasks.

🔻 Why are they hoarding?

The AFU are preparing for an offensive on Russian territory. Several operational-tactical assault groupings have been created to implement the strike plan in two main directions.

The first in the enemy command is considered Soledarskoe, and the second - Donetsk or Zaporizhia with several diversionary offensives in other sectors, including Ugledarsky, Kupyansky, Seversky and Kherson.

A few days before this, or at the time of the implementation of a large-scale plan, the AFU intend to launch a mass strike with drones on the territory of Russia, including in the deep rear.

Older Edda writes that up to 50 of these UAVs are now at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.

🔻Unlike other drones, Soviet reactive UAVs are more difficult targets for air defense due to the ability to fly at extremely low altitudes and maneuver around the terrain.

And if there is a mass launch of UAVs, then with a high degree of probability the Swifts and Reisy will be in the second wave after the overload of Russian air defense, and the most important strategic and political objects of Russia, such as airfields and decision-making centers, will be chosen as targets for strikes.

❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Kupiansk sector: Russian Armed Forces clearing plantings near Pervomaisky

In the vicinity of Kupiansk, Russian troops are making progress in breaching the defenses of Ukrainian formations.

Given the challenging circumstances, the Ukrainian command has consolidated significant units to bolster their defense in case of a full-scale offensive by the Russian Armed Forces.

Over the course of several days, Russian units have been clearing the landings, advancing from Pervomaisky and expanding their zone of control. The progress remains slow due to the dense mining of the area.

🇺🇦 🇷🇺 💡 What happened to Ukrainian substations after the strikes by the Russian Armed Forces?

During our examination of the consequences of Russian attacks on the Ukrainian economy, we determined, based on indirect signs of repair work, the approximate damage that Ukrainian utility workers still need to address.

However, the planned removal of substation equipment for repairs was complicated by the lack of reserve equipment.

A significant amount of equipment was destroyed by massive strikes from Russian troops on Ukrainian energy infrastructure facilities, with the most recent attack occurring on March 9, 2023.

❗️Nevertheless, in the past months, we have analyzed photographs of the six largest Ukrainian 750 kV substations that were targeted, and we have successfully determined the extent of the damage.

The results have surpassed our expectations. Four substations are almost completely non-functional and can only be used to a limited extent for electricity transit, while the remaining two are operating at reduced power.

🔻To learn more about how we gathered this information and the impact of missile strikes on the Ukrainian energy system, please read our comprehensive article on rybar.ru.

❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Battle for Avdeevka: Advancement in the Industrial Zone and Battles near AKHZ
Situation at the end of November 19, 2023

Russian military personnel are building upon their success in the Avdiivka sector of the front.

🔻On the southern flank, Russian Army soldiers successfully broke through the enemy's defenses in the industrial zone near the Yasinovataya-2 station.

According to reports from the NGP Razvedka channel, this achievement was made possible through the effective coordination of assault groups, the support of the Russian Aerospace Forces, and artillery.

The Ukrainian formations have controlled the fortifications in this area since the beginning of the so-called "ATO" in 2014.

The enemy, caught off guard by the sudden breakthrough, has retreated. Currently, efforts are underway to clear and expand the zone of control to the west. However, it is premature to declare victory as the AFU is mobilizing reserves and preparing for a counterattack.

▪️ Reports claiming the complete liberation of the Tsarskaya Okhota campsite are premature; intense fighting continues in its vicinity.

🔻There have been no significant changes on the northern flank of Avdeevka in recent days. Russian troops have managed to expand the zone of control around the treatment facilities near the coke plant and have occupied several enemy positions leading to the enterprise.

However, an immediate assault on this well-fortified target is not yet feasible. Artillery and the Russian Aerospace Forces are continuously suppressing enemy activity.

▪️ Additionally, fighting persists in the areas of Novokalynove and Stepovoy (Petrovsky).

🔻The AFU, on the other hand, made another attempt to attack in the waste heap area near Gorlovka but were met with artillery fire and forced to retreat, suffering casualties. At present, neither side has control over the top of the waste heap.

❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Battle for Avdievka: Front Line Clarification to the East

🔻In the vicinity of Avdeevka, the Russian Armed Forces are continuing their operation to capture the fortified area of the AFU by surrounding it. The Ukrainian military command has ordered the defense of Avdeevka at all costs. To achieve this, they have concentrated over 40 battalions from 8 brigades of the AFU, which were transferred from the western sectors of the front.

▪️ On the northern flank, battles are taking place for the forest belts towards Novokalynove and Keramika. The Russian Armed Forces are assigned to the railway towards Ocheretino.

▪️ The cleanup of the surrounding area of the village of Stepovoe, located west of Krasnohorivka, is ongoing. The Russian Armed Forces control the northeastern outskirts. Ukrainian formations have managed to secure positions in nearby forest belts, making it impossible to advance within the settlement and towards Berdychi without occupying them.

▪️ The main efforts of the Russian Armed Forces on the outskirts of the Coke and Chemical Plant are focused on destroying the fortified area. Assault operations are ongoing from both the northern flank and the ash dump.

▪️ Despite the recent appearance of information on the Internet, the Russian Armed Forces took control of the Ivushka dacha cooperative and the wastewater treatment plants a long time ago.

To the southeast of the treatment plant, in the vicinity of Kamenka and up to the industrial zone, the Russian Armed Forces have managed to straighten out the front line along the stream and approach the outskirts of the quarry on the eastern outskirts of Avdeevka. The Donetsk filtration station has been under the control of Russian troops for a long time.

▪️ After clearing the Yasinovataya-2 industrial zone, Russian units are now attacking the Vinogradniki SNT. Claims about the occupation of a quarry to the west of SNT are premature.

▪️ To the west, assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces are strengthening their positions on the flanks of the village of Severnoye, where they managed to advance last week.

🇬🇧🇭🇺🇷🇸 “The Dangerous Triangle”: Why British Experts Fear Serbia, Hungary, and Republika Srpska

The Royal Defense Studies Institute (RUSI) recently released a report on threats to stability in the Western Balkans. According to British think tank staff, the primary threat in the region arises from the “triangle” formed through cooperation between Serbia, Hungary, and Republika Srpska (the Serbian entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina).

“The three key politicians - Orban, Vučić, and Dodik - have established a close relationship within the triangle spanning Budapest, Belgrade, and Banja Luka. They share a similar authoritarian worldview and political trajectory. Their stances align on various issues, from dealings with Russia and China to hopes for the return of Donald Trump to the White House,” the authors of the report state.

Furthermore, the concern is not solely, or primarily, about the deepening ties between these nations but also about Russia's role in their alliance. They highlight a meeting between Milorad Dodik and Vladimir Putin at the end of February, during which the President of Republika Srpska expressed dissatisfaction with US and British sanctions. What particularly alarms experts is Dodik's pledge to obstruct Bosnia and Herzegovina's NATO accession, as well as his pride in his "excellent relationships with Vucic and Orban."

🔻In the latest article, we delve into the rationale behind RUSI's arguments and the genuine motives behind boosting Serbia's defense capabilities and fostering regional cooperation.

🇧🇦🇷🇸 The Cult of Srebrenica: The "Genocide" That Never Took Place

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, today they remember the victims of the tragic events in Srebrenica in July 1995. As is tradition, foreign delegations participate in memorial events in honor of the anniversary of the "genocide" at the Potočari Memorial Complex. At the UN headquarters in New York, an exhibition dedicated to the victims was solemnly opened.

▪️ On July 11, 1995, the army of the Republika Srpska occupied the Muslim enclave of Srebrenica, which had the status of a "UN-protected zone". According to the version promoted by the Hague Tribunal, during the "genocide" in Srebrenica, allegedly 8,372 civilians of Bosnian Muslims were killed.

▪️ Independent commissions formed over the years confirm the death of no more than three thousand people, and the majority of them were soldiers of the Bosnian army, and some of the prisoners of war were shot while trying to break through towards Sarajevo. There was no talk of any deliberate extermination of the civilian population.

❗️ Experts are sure that the term "genocide" in this case is used by the West as a political tool. A war crime was committed in Srebrenica, but it does not meet all the criteria necessary for such a qualification.

Moreover, an investigation has begun into serious manipulations with data on persons who are listed in the Memorial Center as victims of the alleged genocide. It has been documented that at least 87 people "buried" in Potočari are still alive. Among the "victims of genocide" there were also many who died in battle long before the tragedy in Srebrenica.

For many years, through the efforts of the media and NGOs in the West, their own version of the events was carefully created, ignoring the historical context and facts. This led to attempts to stigmatize the Serbian people as "genocidal" and recognize the Republika Srpska as a "genocidal entity", which could lead to its abolition as an entity. With the help of cultural events, media, and non-profit organizations, the younger generation was vividly told about the "collective guilt" of the Serbian people.

🔻 To learn more about why the Srebrenica massacre became the starting point for the demonization of the Serbs, as well as about the sources of funding and support for writing the history of the "genocide", read our article in more detail.
