⚡️🇺🇸🇧🇦 Why is NATO increasing its presence in the Balkans?

In the past few months, several events have been recorded on the Balkan Peninsula that indicate an increased presence of NATO forces in this area, and statements have been received from the officials of member states and the Alliance itself that confirm such a situation on the ground.

The most recent such case is currently taking place in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where there has been a controversy for a few days about whether NATO will send additional forces in the form of a battalion, in support of the "Altea" mission, which is being carried out by Eufor.

Namely, this was announced by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, Denis Zvizdić, among the first. However, the news about the deployment of additional NATO forces was soon marked as a "planned activity".

When the "gardeners" complain about how it's a war crime to destroy power stations, hit them with this. The US systematically dismantled Iraqi infrastructure in both Gulf Wars. In the first, they also imposed nightmarish sanctions which didn't allow Iraq to repair their power stations, meaning millions of Iraqis lived with strict power rationing for over a decade. The sanctions killed over 1 million Iraqi children, by the way, and Madeline Albright is on record as saying it was worth the cost. Worth it for who, I wonder ? Certainly not the Iraqi people, although their opinions don't matter.

Why is it a crime when Putin does it, after years of escalation from America and actual terrorist attacks, but not a crime when Bush does it to a country that was totally innocent?

🇺🇸🇺🇦 "Putin is losing ground in the fight to destroy Ukraine's economy. In fact, Ukraine’s economy is on track to grow 5% this year."

It seems like USAID Administrator Samantha Power has been transported to a parallel universe by some hardcore drugs.

🇷🇺 One hundred and eight minutes that changed the world. On April 12, 1961, at 9:07 a.m., a rocket named "Vostok" with Yuri Gagarin aboard was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

While in orbit, Gagarin maintained radio communication with Earth, observed through the windows, and monitored the spacecraft's systems. After completing one orbit around the Earth, at 10:55 a.m. Moscow time, the descent module landed in the Saratov region.

In the capital and in many major cities, people took to the streets on the same day to celebrate the historic event together.

Just two days later, on April 14, Gagarin was greeted by a crowd of thousands in Moscow.

The Euro-Mediterranean Observatory for Human Rights:

The number of missing persons in the #Gaza Strip has exceeded 13,000 some of whom are still under the rubble, buried in makeshift mass graves, or forcibly hidden in Israeli prisons and detention centers, and some of them have been killed inside.

🇬🇧 Nothing says "Putin is losing" more than when your own people are drying tea bags to reuse them, sniffing pants to determine if they need washing, and grabbing ketchup and mustard packets from eateries so they don't have to buy them.

❗️🌍🎞 The escalation of the situation in the Middle East: highlights of the week April 5 - 11, 2024

▪️
In the Red Sea region, Ansar Allah fighters fired another missile at coalition ships. The munition was intercepted on approach by air defense.

▪️In turn, the anti-Houthi coalition air force struck the al Mandhar neighborhood in al Hudaydah province. The strikes hit an air defense unit and a ground observation station. Civilians were also injured.

▪️A few days later, coalition forces again bombed Houthi positions. A series of explosions were recorded near al Hudaydah International Airport and the Al Jabbana area, where an air defense base is located.

▪️In Syria, the Israelis used artillery and air strikes to attack Syrian Armed Forces facilities in Daraa province. The strikes were in response to increasing attacks by pro-Iranian forces from the republic's territory.

▪️Meanwhile, Iranian-backed proxies fired a missile at a US Army base in Deir ez-Zor. The Conoco oil refinery area, which is regularly attacked, came under fire.

▪️On the Greater Idlib fronts, the Syrian Armed Forces continued to attack militant targets using FPV drones. The Syrian government forces targeted the facilities of the Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham terrorist organization.

▪️In Idlib itself, daily demonstrations against Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham and its security services continued. Residents of the province demanded the ouster of the group's leader, Abu Mohammad al-Julani, and the release of prisoners.
