▪️ South in the #Lyman - #Svatovo section, Ukrainian formations tried to cross the #Zherebets River at #Raygorodka, #Karmazinovka, #Rozovka, #Novolyubovka and #Makeevka, but suffered losses and retreated.

#Soledar Direction:

▪️ The AFU command is preparing for another Russian offensive in the #Kodema - #Kurdyumovka and #Klinovoye - Krasnaya Gora areas, which if successful would result in the blockade of #Bakhmut (#Artemovsk) from the northeast and south.

▪️ The Ukrainian command is finalising preparations for a massive offensive in the area. Soldiers of the 65th Brigade of the AFU Reserve Corps conducted a reconnaissance battle near #Novoaydarovka, but, hit by massive artillery fire, suffered losses and retreated.

▪️ Ukrainian formations are strengthening their defences near #Dorozhnyanka and preparing SRGs for a raid on Russian Forces' positions near #Marfopol.

▪️ There remains a high risk of an enemy landing near #Energodar, both from #Nikopol and Zolotaya Balka.

#Andreevka and #Berislav Sections at Southern Front(MAP):

▪️ In the #Andreevka sector, units of the 35th Infantry Brigade attempted to storm Russian positions on the #Kostromka - #Ishchenka line, but suffered losses and retreated. New crossings across the #Ingulets are beiong used to supply the group.

▪️ In the #Berislav area, the AFU are preparing a new offensive and moving reserves to the front line.

🩸 In the evening, the Russian Armed Forces again carried out massive strikes on critical infrastructure in #Ukraine. Targets were hit in #Zhytomyr, #Kiev, #Kharkov, #Zmiev, #Lvov, #Rivne and #Artsyz, as well as in #Sumy, #Khmelnitsky, Ivano-Frankovsk and #Vinnitsa regions.

Ukrainian air defence could not repel the attacks. There have been power outages across the country.

▪️ During the raid, two munitions landed near the Polish village of Przewodowy, killing two farmers. According to preliminary reports, a stray AFU S-300 anti-aircraft missile collapsed on Polish territory.

#Belgorod Region:

▪️ Ukrainian militants shelled residential buildings in the village of #Leninsky, as well as in the villages of #Bezymeno, #Kozinka and #Spodaryusheno. Civilians were not injured.

▪️ In the evening, enemy militants attacked residential areas in the town of #Shebekino. At least three people were killed and three others wounded.

▪️ Russian air defence forces intercepted almost all targets over #Valuyki and in the #Graivoron urban district, but one person was killed by a missile. Another woman was injured.

#Starobelsk Direction (MAP):

▪️ In the #Kupyansk sector, artillery units of the 14th AFU Brigade shelled the #Olshana - #Pervomayskoye - #Orlyanka - #Yagodnoye line. Enemy targeting was carried out by drones and SRGs near #Ivanovka.

▪️ In the #Svatovo sector, assault commandos of the 2nd Battalion of the AFU's 92nd Mechanized Brigade entrenched on the western outskirts of #Stelmakhovka and continued their offensive towards #Kuzemovka. The advancing enemy forces were detected by UAVs and withdrew to their initial positions under artillery fire from the Russian forces.

▪️ In the #Lyman sector, a company of the AFU's 25th Airmobile Brigade, supported by armoured vehicles, attempted to break through towards #Chervonopopovka. Russian forces repulsed the attack and later hit the brigade's positions, killing two and wounding 15 Ukrainian paratroopers.

▪️ In the #Lysychansk sector, fighting continues near #Belogorovka. An enemy SRG conducted combat reconnaissance on Russian positions near #Zolotarevka. The Russian forces detected the enemy's concentration and launched a preemptive strike, forcing the Ukrainian militants to retreat to their initial positions with losses.

#Lugansk People's Republic:

♦️#Soledar Area:

▪️ PMC Wagner assault units, having gained control of the 7th mine and #Sol station, are advancing towards #Blagodatnoye, as well as towards the AFU stronghold on the #Krasnopolye - #Razdolovka - #Veseloye line.

♦️Northeast of #Bakhmut:

▪️ Fierce fighting for Krasnaya Gora and #Paraskovievka continues. Tomorrow, the 218th and 219th Battalions of 125th Territorial Defence Brigades from the #Sumy region are expected to arrive in this area to replace the 166th Battalion of 119th Territorial Defence Brigade, 74% of which have refused to fight.

▪️ The Ukrainian command plans to attack the positions of Russian paratroopers on the #Shevchenko - #Podgorodnoye line to hold the main roads north of #Bakhmut by the 4th Battalion of the AFU's 77th Separate Airmobile Brigade.

♦️#Bakhmut Area:

▪️ An unidentified unit from the #Chernigov region has arrived to reinforce the grouping. The 93rd Mechanized Brigade of the AFU has been reinforced with 60 mobilised men.

▪️ Due to heayy losses, the command of the AFU's 61st Mechanized Brigade is withdrawing its personnel from #Bakhmut and the surrounding area to #Cherkasy . Between 19 and 23 January, the remaining four formations of the 61st Mechanized Brigade, together with their equipment, are sent for resupply from #Druzhkovka station.

♦️Southwest of #Bakhmut:

▪️ "Wagnerians" have completely liberated the village of #Kleshchiyevka, and pushed the combined units of the 3rd Assault Brigade and the AFU Territorial Defence out of the settlement. Fighting is currently continuing around the settlement.

▪️ The loss of #Kleshchiyevka poses a major threat to the AFU garrisons in #Bakhmut and Chasov Yar. Ukrainian formations are attempting to counterattack with the support of barrel and self-propelled artillery (eight M777 howitzers and one M109 SAU) deployed on the western outskirts of #Krasnoye.

▪️ Meanwhile, in Chasov Yar itself, fortifications are being actively prepared and reinforcements continue to be moved in. The presence of the Azov nationalist formation members was noted in Alekseevo-Druzhkovka.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Kursk Direction: Destruction of HIMARS MLRS by Russian troops and AFU advance in the Malaya Loknya area
Situation as of 6:00 PM September 2024

In the Kursk Direction, Ukrainian formations are consolidating their hold on previously occupied territories, including deploying radar surveillance infrastructure. At the same time, the Russian Armed Forces are searching for and destroying targets in the Kursk and Sumy Regions.

🔻In the Glushkovo District, Ukrainian formations did not conduct offensive operations. Russian troops are ensuring stable supply of the grouping in this sector, using pontoon crossings on the Seym River.

🔻In the Korenevo District, the AFU launched attacks towards Komarovka and Korenevo, without significant success. Russian artillery struck personnel concentrations in Apanasovka, Snagost and Vishnevka, likely to disrupt the enemy's preparation for new attacks in this sector.

🔻In the Sudzha District, Ukrainian formations, according to available data, were able to slightly expand their control zone in the vicinity of Pogrebki and Malaya Loknya. Judging by the geography of Russian artillery strikes, the Russian Armed Forces had previously abandoned positions in these villages to avoid the threat of encirclement by the enemy.

▪️However, it is premature to claim that the AFU have established stable control over these settlements - the situation in the sector is shrouded in the "fog of war". At the same time, Russian artillery and aviation are actively striking assault groups and armored vehicles of the opponent.

▪️Northwest of Zaoleshanka, Russian UAV operators struck a radar station of an unidentified type, likely deployed to track the operation of Russian drones or artillery. As a result of a direct hit, the station was destroyed.

❗️The fact that Ukrainian formations are deploying a radar surveillance system in the occupied areas indicates the AFU command's plans to consolidate in the Kursk Region, continuing to allocate significant human and technical resources to this sector.

🔻In the Sumy Region, Russian troops struck several important enemy targets with missile attacks. North of Samotoevka, the Russian Armed Forces destroyed three HIMARS MLRS launchers, using the Iskander OTRK. The loss of these systems will temporarily reduce the strike capabilities of the AFU, including in terms of impact on Russian communications.

▪️In the area of Novaya Sech, Russian troops "covered" a Buk-M1 air defense battery, disabling three launchers and a mobile command post.
