Ukr Command reportedly has a plan to create a fortified zone centred on #Slavyansk-#Kramatorsk & #Bakhmut (Artemovsk) as well as smaller towns in that zone, They plan that every fortified point would be able to provide covering artillery fire to each other
The powerful Rus force in the #Izum bulge could be a serious threat to that plan by launching attacks from rear of the proposed fortified area.
That group is likely waiting for the resolution of the battle for #Liman before making any serious moves

The Rus have crossed the Severodonets river at a Ukr held bulge (NW of Izum) and captured Nortsivka.
They probably intend to move on Chepivka and push/destroy the Ukr group who have been trying to attack Izum from the flank for the past few weeks
