▪️ In the #Svatovo sector, assault commandos of the 2nd Battalion of the AFU's 92nd Mechanized Brigade entrenched on the western outskirts of #Stelmakhovka and continued their offensive towards #Kuzemovka. The advancing enemy forces were detected by UAVs and withdrew to their initial positions under artillery fire from the Russian forces.

▪️ In the #Lyman sector, a company of the AFU's 25th Airmobile Brigade, supported by armoured vehicles, attempted to break through towards #Chervonopopovka. Russian forces repulsed the attack and later hit the brigade's positions, killing two and wounding 15 Ukrainian paratroopers.

▪️ In the #Lysychansk sector, fighting continues near #Belogorovka. An enemy SRG conducted combat reconnaissance on Russian positions near #Zolotarevka. The Russian forces detected the enemy's concentration and launched a preemptive strike, forcing the Ukrainian militants to retreat to their initial positions with losses.

#Lugansk People's Republic:

❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Destruction of the hangar with MLRS HIMARS in Orekhovo

Today at 17.30 artillery units of the 58th Army of the Russian Armed Forces attacked the hangars on the territory of the Orekhovskoye elevator near the railway station in Orekhovo in the Zaporizhia region.

In warehouses located closer to the football field, there were two HIMARS MLRS launchers, one M777 155-mm towed howitzer, several unidentified armored vehicles and artillery ammunition.

As a result of the impact with a package of 300-mm Smerch multiple launch rocket system and 20 shells of the 152-mm towed gun "Hyacinth", the hangars for storing weapons and equipment were completely destroyed, and the glow from the detonation was visible for many kilometers from Orekhovo.

🔻Today at around 10 am, two assault groups of the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade of the AFU on several M113 armored personnel carriers and two HMMMV armored vehicles conducted reconnaissance in battle near Lobkove, southwest of Orekhovo.

As a result of the ensuing battle with the support of artillery, the Ukrainian formations lost at least one armored combat vehicle, as well as more than a dozen people. The rest of the enemy units rolled back to their original lines.

🔻After a couple of hours, the AFU attacked the positions in Lobkove again. This time, the assault group was covered by two tanks that entered the village from the north side. Now there is a fight going on in the village.

In addition, separate formations of the enemy went down to the Zherebyanki settlement, trying to squeeze the Russian troops out of the two villages. At the moment, the clashes continue.

At the same time, accumulations of AFU were noted in Kamenskoye and southeast of it. Most likely, the Ukrainian command keeps them as a reserve, ready to advance to support or consolidate on the borders.

🔹 The RF Armed Forces continue a strategic defensive operation along the entire front line. During the night, missile and UAV attacks were launched against ammunition and military equipment depots, fuel depots, and air defence systems in #Kirovograd #Dnepropetrovsk, #Poltava, #Vinnitsa, #Cherkassy, #Nikolayev, #Zaporozhye, #Zhitomir, #Lvov, and #Kharkov regions.

🔹 The direction of the main attack by the AFU is the #Orekhov section of the #Zaporozhye front, the enemy throws several attacking waves of infantry and armoured vehicles per day consisting of up to two motorized infantry companies under the cover of armoured vehicles in each tactical direction. The enemy is firing heavy artillery fire at our positions, using high-precision ammunition to hit our forward strongholds. They use reconnaissance UAVs en masse.

🔹 The RF Armed Forces use artillery and aviation to successfully destroy the enemy on the approaches. Enemy concentrations and their forming columns are covered by fire at the moment the columns are formed in the grey zone. Having failed to achieve success in either direction of the #Zaporozhye front, the enemy is building up its strength. Thus, in the direction of #Rabotino the AFU threw up to 4 columns of armoured vehicles with a total number of about 130 armoured vehicles into the battle. In one of the directions the enemy managed to get close to our stronghold, a heavy small arms fight ensued. The #Zaporozhye frontline is unchanged.

🔹 In the #Kherson direction, the RF Armed Forces occupy new positions after the floods, organise defence, and rescue civilians. Artillery duels are taking place.

🔹 On the #SouthDonetsk Front, fighting continues near the Vremyevka ledge. Our defence is reinforced near #Ugledar.

🔹 On the flanks of the #Bakhmut sector, the enemy is also throwing armoured vehicles into combat. Footage of their destruction is circulating on the Web. The Ukrainian Defence Ministry is not covering its strike on the #Zaporozhye front, claiming that the only active area for them is near #Bakhmut.

The situation at the end of the day on June 20, 2023

This morning, the armored group of the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade of the AFU entered the village of Pyatikhatki, which was located in the gray zone, and from there the infantry swooped down and tried to break through to Zherebyanki.

🔻At the turn of Rabotino - Verbovoe, Ukrainian formations cannot break through the line of defense of the Russian army for a week. There are tactical successes, but it was not possible to capture Rabotino, and they never entered the Verbovoye Armed Forces of Ukraine.

All yesterday, Ukrainian air assault brigades attacked with consolidated infantry groups either east of Rabotino or west of Verbovoye. 🔻And, looking at the movements of reinforcements (which are also noted near Lobkove, where vacations were suspended for the 128th Guards Rifle Brigade), one gets the impression that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing for a new attack on a wide front.

And this time more widespread. Mobile fire groups have been deployed to Malaya Tokmachka to cover ground forces, and the destruction of the British Challenger (confirmed by Forbes) indicates their movement to the LBS.

Probably, the tank was moving to its original position before the offensive, which should begin in the near future, but came under a precise strike from the artillerymen of the Russian Armed Forces.

❗️The military campaign of the Ukrainian troops in the south of Ukraine depends on the successes in this area, since operations in the Kherson region are possible only with the breakthrough of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to Tokmak. However, the enemy’s spring-summer, and now autumn, operation is obviously malfunctioning, and the loss of the first Challenger reduces the amount of “super equipment” that should turn the tide of the war.
