⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ #Donbass Offensive: Situation in Eastern #Ukraine at End of 27 Sep 2022⚡️
Border areas of the Russian Federation:
▪️ AFU shelled residential buildings in #Ziborovka village of #Belgorod region, no civilian casualties.
#Kharkov Direction:
▪️ The situation in this section of the front remains tense. Units of the 14th AFU Brigade continue their offensive towards the village of #Tavolzhanka.
▪️ According to some reports, there are fierce battles for the #Kupyansk-Uzlovaya station on the eastern bank of the #Oskol River.
▪️ Russian Forces struck critical infrastructure in #Kharkov overnight, causing power supply problems in the city.
Russian troops also hit targets in western #Kupyansk, #Pervomayskoye and #Monachinovka.
#Lyman Direction:
▪️ Ukrainian units made an unsuccessful attempt to storm #Lyman from #Ozernoye and #Shchukovo. At the same time, Ukrainian Forces managed to gain a foothold in the villages of #Novoye and #Katerinovka.
▪️ On the northern flank, Ukrainian formations are attacking allied positions near the village of Zelenaya Dolina and trying to advance further into the rear of the Russian Forces in #Lyman.
▪️ East of #Lyman, the enemy was able to break through to #Yampol and #Torskoye with mobile groups in vehicles.
▪️ To the west, another attempt by the AFU to gain control of the #Drobyshevo village failed.
▪️ Allied Forces repulsed all enemy attacks on #Novoselovka and #Shandrigolovo.
▪️ On the southern flank, the Ukrainian command is moving additional forces to the northern bank of the Seversky Donets to compensate for combat losses of equipment and personnel and to prepare Ukrainian units for an active offensive in that direction.
▪️ An offensive by Ukrainian Forces from the southern and western flanks threatens to block the only remaining supply route for Allied Forces along the Svatovo-Makeevka-Terny-Lyman road.
▪️ The Russian command continues to try to halt the enemy's advance in order to strengthen the defences and stabilize the front.
▪️ Artillery duels continue along the entire line of contact.
#Bakhmut (#Artemovsk) Direction:
▪️ In the south of #Bakhmut, fierce fighting continues between Wagner PMC assault units and Ukrainian militants in the village of #Otradovka.
▪️ At the same time, Wagnerians are advancing on enemy positions in #Zaitsevo.
#Lugansk Region:
▪️ Ukrainian militants shelled residential and administrative buildings in #Alchevsk and #Bryanka with HIMARS MLRS.
#Donetsk Direction:
▪️ Ukrainian Forces are massing their troops on the western section of the front for a renewed offensive against Allied positions in #Maryinka.
▪️ Fighting continues near the village of #Prechistovka.
▪️ Allied forces hit enemy manpower, equipment and facilities in Zolotaya Niva, #Ugledar, #Pavlovka and #Yegorovka.
In turn, Ukrainian militants launched numerous strikes on the #Donetsk agglomeration. #Donetsk, #Mineralnoye, #Gorlovka and #Novobakhmutovka were hit by missiles.
#Zaporozhye Direction:
▪️ Ukrainian commanders move armoured vehicles and personnel to the #Vozdvizhenka and #Gulyaypol area to further attack Russian positions.
▪️ Units of the 65th AFU brigade made another failed offensive attempt against the positions of the 35th brigade of the Russian Forces near #Nesteryanka, resulted in significant losses for the Ukrainian militants, and retreated to their initial positions.
▪️ Russian Forces shelled enemy positions and command posts in #Zaporozhye, #Novoselki, #Poltavka, #Stepnogorsk and #Shevchenko.
