Cruise missile reportedly headed to #Cherkassy where missile strikes were reported

📋🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Two Majors #Report for the Morning of 9 June 2023; pub. 07:11📍

🔹 The RF Armed Forces continue a strategic defensive operation along the entire front line. During the night, missile and UAV attacks were launched against ammunition and military equipment depots, fuel depots, and air defence systems in #Kirovograd #Dnepropetrovsk, #Poltava, #Vinnitsa, #Cherkassy, #Nikolayev, #Zaporozhye, #Zhitomir, #Lvov, and #Kharkov regions.

🔹 The direction of the main attack by the AFU is the #Orekhov section of the #Zaporozhye front, the enemy throws several attacking waves of infantry and armoured vehicles per day consisting of up to two motorized infantry companies under the cover of armoured vehicles in each tactical direction. The enemy is firing heavy artillery fire at our positions, using high-precision ammunition to hit our forward strongholds. They use reconnaissance UAVs en masse.

🔹 The RF Armed Forces use artillery and aviation to successfully destroy the enemy on the approaches. Enemy concentrations and their forming columns are covered by fire at the moment the columns are formed in the grey zone. Having failed to achieve success in either direction of the #Zaporozhye front, the enemy is building up its strength. Thus, in the direction of #Rabotino the AFU threw up to 4 columns of armoured vehicles with a total number of about 130 armoured vehicles into the battle. In one of the directions the enemy managed to get close to our stronghold, a heavy small arms fight ensued. The #Zaporozhye frontline is unchanged.

🔹 In the #Kherson direction, the RF Armed Forces occupy new positions after the floods, organise defence, and rescue civilians. Artillery duels are taking place.

🔹 On the #SouthDonetsk Front, fighting continues near the Vremyevka ledge. Our defence is reinforced near #Ugledar.

🔹 On the flanks of the #Bakhmut sector, the enemy is also throwing armoured vehicles into combat. Footage of their destruction is circulating on the Web. The Ukrainian Defence Ministry is not covering its strike on the #Zaporozhye front, claiming that the only active area for them is near #Bakhmut.

🔹 In the #Kupyansk region, the battle also continues. The enemy is forced to relocate UAV units from #Zaporozhye region due to the activity of our troops.

🔹 The shelling of the #Belgorod region and the DPR continues. In the DPR, 16 civilians, including a child born in 2006, suffered injuries of varying degrees of severity.

▪️ The RF Armed Forces hit targets in #Cherkassy, #Zaporozhye and #Dnepropetrovsk regions, as well as the AFU-occupied part of the DPR.

▪️ On the #Zaporozhye front, the enemy is preparing to throw in several battalion tactical groups in #Kamenskoye and #Orekhov directions, increasing pressure on our defence.

▪️ On the #Vremyevka ledge, heavy fighting continues.

▪️ In the #Kherson region the enemy is active in small landing groups near the #Antonovsky bridge. There are reports that the AFU is preparing a large-scale landing operation, the main task of which is to force the #Dnieper River near the #Kakhovskaya HPP. The auxiliary strike will be carried out on the islands by the Air Assault Forces and Forces of Special Operation.

▪️ South of #Kremennaya, in the #Serebryanskoye forestry, the initiative is in the hands of the RF Armed Forces, there are battles.

▪️ On the southern flank of the #Bakhmut sector of the front, the AFU are attempting to advance In the area of#Kleshchiyevka.

▪️ In the DPR, a civilian was killed by shelling and four civilians have been wounded.
