The denial of OBC reservation in All India quota of medical seats in state run medical colleges is a massive blow at the very idea of social justice. The reservation for OBC students is being silently undermined by the conspiracy carefully hatched at casteist centers. Figures shockingly reveal that OBC students lost more than 10000 seats to general quota since 2017. While the reservation is instituted by the Constitution for ensuring equal representation of the backward sections, such a sabotage is plain injustice and clear violation of constitutional ideals. In the interest of social justice it is to be ensured that OBC reservation be safeguarded and the losses be suitably compensated.
