Strikes on Civilian Infrastructure in Ukraine and Russia: Jan. 26-28, 2024 CIT Volunteer Summary

Over the last 48 hours, at least 13 civilians died and another 21 were injured as a result of strikes.

In the Sumy region, two people were killed during an attack by a sabotage and reconnaissance group on the road between two villages of the Khotynska community. Additionally, another person was killed as a result of a strike on the village of Stepok.

In the Kharkiv region, one person was injured in the town of Vovchansk due to artillery and mortar strikes by the RuAF. In the urban-type settlement of Kozacha Lopan, a local resident was wounded, and in the village of Podoly, two individuals were also injured.

In the Kherson region, one civilian was killed and three others were wounded by drone-dropped munitions in the city of Beryslav. Another person sustained injuries during the shelling of the village of Tiahynka, and in the village of Mykhailivka, a local resident was also injured.

In the Donetsk region, one civilian was killed in the village of Serebryanka, and another in the town of Siversk, both as a result of RuAF strikes. In the urban-type settlement of Niu-York, five people were killed and three more were injured due to a glide bomb strike. Additionally, a missile attack on the town of Myrnohrad caused injuries to three local residents.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, one person was wounded in the Marhanetska community during shelling and kamikaze drone attacks.

In the occupied territories of the Donetsk region, two people were injured by drone-dropped munitions in the Kirovskyi district of the city of Donetsk, and in the city of Horlivka, two local residents were wounded due to a strike.

In the occupied territories of the Kherson region, one local resident was killed in a strike on the urban-type settlement of Dnipriany and another local resident was injured during a kamikaze drone attack in the town of Nova Kakhovka.

In the Belgorod region, one person was injured as a result of a kamikaze drone attack in the village of Kolotilovka.

Additionally, in the Kharkiv region, a teenager who was wounded as a result of previous strikes has died at the hospital.

Over the last 24 hours, at least 5 civilians were killed and another 23 were injured as a result of strikes.

In the Sumy region, at least three people were killed and another one was injured as a result of MLRS strikes on the village of Znob-Novhorodske.

In the Donetsk region, one civilian was wounded during the shelling of the village of Ocheretyne.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, two people sustained injuries due to an artillery strike on the city of Nikopol.

In the occupied territories of the Donetsk region, in the city of Donetsk, one person was killed, along with two individuals in camouflage clothing, raising questions about their civilian status; and four more people were wounded due to strikes in the Kalininskyi district. In the Petrovskyi district, another person was injured by a drone-dropped munition. In the city of Horlivka, six people were wounded by the detonation of an unexploded cluster submunition, and another person was injured in a separate strike. Another strike injured one person in the village of Mykilske, and in the town of Yasynuvata, two people were wounded during a kamikaze drone attack. In the city of Mariupol, one person was injured due to the detonation of an explosive device.

In the occupied territories of the Kherson region, a kamikaze drone strike on the town of Oleshky resulted in one person being killed and another person being injured.

In the Belgorod region, Russia, one person sustained injuries due to a strike on the village of Mokraya Orlovka.

Additionally, in the Donetsk region, it has been reported that one more civilian was injured as a result of the previous strikes on the city of Avdiivka.

In the Kherson region, attacks by the Russian Armed Forces caused civilian casualties across multiple locations. One person was killed and another was wounded as a result of a kamikaze drone strike on the Kherson district. In the village of Veletenske, one local resident was killed and another sustained injuries due to shelling. One civilian was wounded during an attack on the village of Mykhailivka. One person was injured by a drone-dropped munition in the town of Beryslav. In the village of Tokarivka, one local resident sustained injuries due to shelling.

In the Kharkiv region, two civilians were wounded as a result of a kamikaze drone strike on the town of Zmiiv.

In the Donetsk region, two local residents were killed during repeated shelling of the town of Avdiivka. One person was killed and another was injured during an attack on the town of Myrnohrad. Two people were wounded as a result of FPV drone strikes in the town of Chasiv Yar. One local resident sustained injuries due to an attack on the village of Niu-York.

In the Sumy region, one person was killed by a drone-dropped munition in the Yunakivska community.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, one local resident sustained injuries as a result of strikes on the Nikopol district.

In the occupied territories of the Donetsk region, one person was killed in the shelling of the urban-type settlement of Panteleimonivka. One local resident was wounded during a strike on the city of Horlivka.

Over the last 24 hours, at least 5 civilians were killed and another 26 were injured as a result of strikes.

In the Kherson region, one person was killed and two others were injured by a drone-dropped munition in the town of Beryslav. Additionally, as a result of RuAF strikes, one person was wounded in the city of Kherson, and another in the village of Tiahynka. Another person sustained injuries during the shelling of the village of Tokarivka.

In the Kharkiv region, four local residents were injured in a kamikaze drone attack on the city of Kharkiv.

In the Donetsk region, eight people were injured in a missile attack on the town of Pokrovsk.

In the Mykolaiv region, one person was wounded during a UAV attack on the town of Snihurivka.

In the occupied territories of the Donetsk region, two people were killed and another one was injured with a drone-dropped munition in the area of the village of Panteleimonivka. In the occupied territories of the Kherson region, a drone-dropped munition killed two people in the town of Nova Kakhovka.

In the Belgorod region, Russia, one person was wounded by a drone-dropped munition in the village of Bogun-Gorodok.

Over the last 24 hours, at least 5 civilians were killed and another 17 were injured as a result of strikes.

In the Kherson region, two individuals were injured following an airstrike on the Mylove community. Two civilians were killed and five others sustained injuries due to repeated UAV attacks in the town of Beryslav.

In the Kharkiv region, four local residents were injured as a result of an airstrike on the urban-type settlement of Velykyi Burluk.

In the Donetsk region, one person was killed in a rocket artillery strike on the urban-type settlement of Tsukuryne. Two local residents were wounded by an airstrike on the town of Toretsk.

In the occupied territories of the Donetsk region, two people sustained injuries in the urban-type settlement of Mykilske. One person was killed and another was wounded by drone-dropped munitions in the Petrovskyi district of Donetsk and the Mykytivka district of Horlivka respectively.

In the occupied territories of the Luhansk region, one civilian was killed and another was injured by a drone-dropped munition in the Slovianoserbsk district.

Over the last 24 hours, at least 17 civilians were injured as a result of strikes.

In the Kherson region, two people were wounded in an attack on the village of Tiahynka. One person was injured in an airstrike and another was wounded by a drone-dropped munition in the town of Beryslav. Three people sustained injuries as a result of an airstrike in the city of Kherson. Two local residents were wounded in an attack on the village of Inhulets.

In the Donetsk region, one person was injured as a result of multiple strikes in the town of Avdiivka.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, two local residents sustained injuries due to shelling in the city of Nikopol.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, one civilian was wounded due to strikes on the village of Mala Tokmachka. One local resident sustained injuries during an attack on the village of Preobrazhenka.

In the Kherson region, one person was wounded in a strike on the urban-type settlement of Bilozerka. One local resident sustained injuries during an attack on the village of Kachkarivka.

In the Donetsk region, one civilian was injured as a result of a strike in the village of Maksymilyanivka. One person was killed and two others were wounded during the shelling of the town of Toretsk.

In the Kharkiv region, one local resident sustained injuries due to an airstrike on the village of Hlushkivka.

In the occupied territories of the Donetsk region, two civilians were wounded in an attack on the Kuibyshevskyi district in the city of Donetsk.
