ATAS HEATMAP: FAQ FOR BEGINNERS
The Heatmap, or liquidity map, is a derivative of the Depth of Market indicator. It displays changes in the volume of limit orders over time, revealing the activity of big players in the order book. The brighter color on the heatmap marks the higher cumulative volume of limit orders at that level.
Since the Heatmap is a new feature in ATAS, users still have many questions about how to use this tool. In our latest video on our YouTube channel, we demonstrate how to launch and configure the Heatmap and showcase the benefits of using this tool for those who haven't tried it yet.

LOADING HEATMAP HISTORY FOR CRYPTO MARKETS πΈ
Here at ATAS, we pay close attention to user feedback and understand the importance of this feature. Now, when adding the DOM Levels indicator to the cryptocurrency chart, significant volume levels will be drawn not from the moment they were added but considering the historical data that is loaded from the platform's servers.
For instance, when you add DOM Levels to your BTC/USDT chart in the morning, you will be able to see how significant sell orders around 68,000 initiated a drop in the bitcoin price overnight (as shown on the chart).
π History loading is automatically activated, so there is no need for manual setup.
π The depth of history loading matches the depth of available data for the DOM in Market Replay mode.
π Major tools from Binance, Binance Futures, ByBit, and BitMEX are supportedβnot all but several dozen major markets.
We aim to support more markets in the future, which means we will add the option to load history for futures from traditional exchanges. Stay tuned for updates on the Changelog page.
