TWO CHANGES TO TRADING FUNCTIONALITY
1️⃣ Scalping DOM has transformed into a module called DOM Trader. It used to be accessed through the indicator manager, but now you can open DOM Trader through a button in the bottom right corner of the chart window.

The core concept remains the same – a user-friendly tool for scalping based on the order book and tape (which features a heat map display mode πŸ”₯). By combining DOM Trader with Footprint and Profiles in the left section of the screen, you can have a powerful all-in-one solution.

2️⃣ The familiar tool, Chart Trader, has also moved to the bottom right corner of the chart window. This change allows for a more spacious upper menu in the chart.

Thanks to these changes, important elements of the platform will always be at your fingertips, making it easier for beginners to familiarize themselves with ATAS.

SELECTING THE VERSION WHEN LAUNCHING THE PLATFORM
When launching, you can choose one of the 3 available versions:

πŸ‘‰ STABLE. This is the most reliable version of the platform, which has been thoroughly tested by the test team and the ATAS community. The version is released several times a year and is intended for everyday use.

πŸ‘‰ LATEST. This version is a release candidate that appears 1-2 months before the release of the new stable version of the platform. This version has updated functionality that has been beta tested and is in the final stages of development.

πŸ‘‰ BETA. The latest experimental version has the latest features and fixes that need testing and may have their own bugs or limitations.

You can change the version every time you start ATAS, the platform will download the necessary files itself. If you have learned about some new feature in the platform but can't find it, try to switch from Stable to the Beta version.

PROS AND CONS OF RENKO CHARTS
The main functions of Renko Charts are to filter market noise and provide a clearer visualization of trend movements.

βž• Short stops with small values and reversal Renko bars.
βž• Can be combined with technical and cluster analysis tools.
βž• Can be combined with wave analysis.
βž• It is easy to identify trending movement.
βž• Much fewer reversal bars and false signals compared to using time frames.
βž• During flat movement, reversal bars form consolidation zones.
β €
βž– Using larger Renko bar sizes can potentially result in missing out on favorable entry points with lower risk during the formation of reversal candles.
βž– False signals when moving in the flat range.
βž– Signals can be delayed when using larger brick sizes.
βž– Bars form too quickly during volatility.

Volume analysis may seem too confusing for beginner traders, because the intersection of moving averages is much more understandable and visual. However, if you are genuinely committed to serious work (rather than relying on 50% probability signals), volume analysis is indeed worth your attention.

Whether you should begin analyzing volumes and how to gain a competitive advantage will be explored in the new article https://bit.ly/3EmvnhW:
πŸ‘‰ What do volumes mean in trading?
πŸ‘‰ How to analyse volumes?
πŸ‘‰ Pros of volume trading
πŸ‘‰ Cons of volume trading
πŸ‘‰ How to configure a chart?
πŸ‘‰ How to start learning volume analysis with ATAS?

The article provides a set of arguments that may be useful for those who are interested in trading, but do not know where to start.

This is another article on the topic of VSA and cluster analysis. Shakeout and Uptrust are grouped together in today’s article. Some might argue that the β€œmirror image” of Uptrust is Spring. That is a reasonable point. However, there is no Spring pattern in the classic VSA terminology. Although Volume Spread Analysis creator Tom Williams knew the term Spring, he never used it himself.

For the sake of purity of approach, we chose Shakeout, which has similar features to Upthrust, only in β€œupside down” form:
βœ… Both signals reflect market manipulations of major players;
βœ… They are aimed at taking as many stop losses as possible from traders who opened positions at the right side of the market;
βœ… They are aimed to carry traders who do not have positions in the wrong direction.

FEATURES OF VSA END OF RISING MARKET PATTERN
Imagine a situation. The news is good and the volume in the market is extremely high. Prices are rising and everything looks good. Or not? High volume tells us that there is a lot of activity in the market, but if demand is high, we expect the spread to be wide and the price to increase sharply. But that doesn't happen. In order to recognize the β€œcatch” in time, it is important to know the main features of the End of Rising Market pattern:

πŸ”Ή the candle’s spread is narrow
πŸ”Ή the closing price of the candle is higher than the previous day (bar)
πŸ”Ή the volume is much higher than the average
πŸ”Ή amid the end of a period of market growth
πŸ”Ή the next bar (day) – the price usually goes down, confirming the weakness
πŸ”Ή the news context is good. Sometimes, the End of Rising Market pattern occurs when the price reaches a new record high or crosses a round psychological level.

πŸ€– WHAT TRADING ROBOTS EXIST?

In the market, you can find ready-made trading robots to suit your preferences and budget. They are typically divided into the following categories based on their complexity level:

πŸ‘‰ Basic algorithms
They offer trading models based on already known indicators. For example, we buy when the fast MA crosses up the slow one.
πŸ‘‰ Advanced algorithms
They analyze technical analysis figures, candlesticks, and search for patterns.
πŸ‘‰ Professional robots
They use volume analysis, order flow, look into the order book.
πŸ‘‰ The most powerful extra-class robots
They assess electronic media, conduct neuro-linguistic analysis, gather exchange and broker reports, use macroeconomic principles, and employ AI and machine learning systems.

Did you know that you can create your own robots and indicators in the ATAS platform? All you need is to have basic knowledge of C#. You'll find detailed instructions:

🌊 WHAT IS THE WEYS WAVES INDICATOR CAPBLE OF?🌊

πŸ„β€β™‚οΈ It sums up the volume on each wave and we get a histogram of cumulative volumes of alternating waves.
Weis Waves enable the comparison of the ratio of the characteristics between a series of waves, such as the applied effort (expressed in volume) and the result obtained (price progress).

πŸ„β€β™‚οΈ It is really good at showing reversals of a trend movement.
The wave is measured by length (time characteristic), volume (total number of contracts traded in one direction) and height (progress achieved). By comparing the characteristics of one wave with the previous or next one, you can gain information about the overall nature of the market.

πŸ„β€β™‚οΈ It works great with Renko and tick charts, as well as the Dynamic Levels indicator.

πŸ“Š Vertical volume is a general number of shares or contracts that were traded during a certain period of time in volume or monetary terms. The vertical volume is usually reflected in the form of a column bar chart under the price chart.

Volume is activity. A trader builds his expectations for further development of events by analyzing the activity of traders at different price changes.

Read it in a new article at the link https://bit.ly/3LwEcK2:

🌐 GLOBAL DRAWING OBJECTS ALREADY IN THE PLATFORM!
Hooray, the functionality you have been waiting for! Now you can add graphical objects in one click and manage them simultaneously on all charts. This option is available for all graphical objects, except for Market Profile and Long/Short Positions.

πŸ‘‰ Place a drawing object on the chart and right-click on it.
πŸ‘‰ In the context menu, activate the β€œGlobal” item.
πŸ‘‰ The drawing object will appear on all charts of the active instrument, and any changes will be instantly synchronized.

Moreover, it is now possible to place almost all graphical objects on the indicator panel (with the exception of Market Profile, Long/Short Positions and the ruler).

Last but not least, we have improved the context menu. You can easily lock and hide drawing objects using the streamlined buttons. The Settings Window has also been relocated here, accessible by simply double-clicking on the drawing object.
