What does Chara represent in Fuji's dreams exactly?
There would be many answers actually
First of all, Chara is the first human Fuji knows about because of the POVs she experienced as them, plus Asriel memories she absorbed while being part of the white wisteria tree behind Asgore's shop (this part is messy without prior explanation, but that's a tale for another time)
Fuji sees Chara as the definition of human being (bonus with Kris after meeting them too) and it's both positive and negative
She's very attached to the way Asriel thought dearly of Chara, yet the latter wasn't exactly the nice picture he described
Experiencing Chara's POV made her feel like a part of them, both their dystopian thoughts and Asriel's friendship growing on her
And after witnessing Asriel's cruel fate caused by humans, she formed the conviction that being human also means having an ugly dark side, whenever you like it or not
Chara's manifestation in her nightmares can represent the ugly part of humanity, the part she doesn't want to associate herself with, the shadow of herself she doesn't accept and needs to fight back, no matter what
