Living in the USA right now feels like being in a country that is constantly evolving. Yes, there are challenges: economic shifts, political debates, fast technological changes but there is also incredible innovation, resilience, and opportunity.
People here don’t wait for perfect conditions. They adapt, build, create, and keep moving forward. From startups to universities, from small communities to big cities aand there’s energy everywhere.

Here are some interesting realities in US:
• Many international students work up to 20 hours per week on campus during the semester. It teaches time management better than any course.
• Networking is almost as important as grades. Sometimes one coffee chat can open more doors than a 4.0 GPA.
• Professors actually expect you to ask questions and disagree, participation is part of your grade.
• Credit score matters a lot. In the U.S, your financial reputation can affect where you live and even some job opportunities.
• Internships are often more important than the degree itself. Experience is everything.
• People change careers easily here cuz it’s normal to pivot industries multiple times.

I used to think that the best way to prepare for something important like an exam was to quit everything else and give it my full attention.
But I’ve realized the opposite is often true.
The more free time you have, the easier it is to lose structure, delay tasks and fall into procrastination.
Having some constraints on your time actually forces you to be more intentional, focused and disciplined with how you use it.

Any HR should understand the organization first before starting any HR strategy...

Once you lived abroad it is very easy to see the gaps in the society, system, communication probably almost everywhere. And your mind starts comparing what is good here and whaat is not. I guess that's how you broaden your horizon (my favorite phrase I used to use in IELTS speaking, I feel now I know what it means)

I participated in a discussion about risks of AI with my good old friend Khurshed Makhmudov (top CMO in Uzbekistan).
https://t.me/oldtownmarketer he often shares interesting marketing cases here.
It is our very first podcast, so don’t judge harsh, rather love profusely.

Why people in Uzbekistan are so rude?)

Lately I have been on a no sugar diet and I am liking it for some reason!
