AI Season feels so imminent. Don't forget GPT-5 is also supposed to drop this month, probably already later this week. Could be a big attention driver for AI and ultimately also crypto x AI which provides a lot of opportunities for investment exposure to the AI hype/narrative that is hard for most to get in the traditional finance space.
TGE season is also ramping up, and many DeAI infra projects are gearing up for mainnet / token launches, which will further amplify mindshare and attention the vertical gets. The increasingly mature infra stack, the better open-source models that are accessible (e.g. the above-mentioned GPT-OSS), cost-efficient (and potentially private) compute access via decentralized networks, etc. could also spark the next wave of agentic innovation (in crypto).
I expect this one to be much bigger than the first we saw (largely driven by LLM-wrappers / twitter chatbots) with agents capable of engaging in proper economic activity, having real impact within onchain DeFi economies, and actually creating value. Also think that agent-driven automation of onchain workflows, AI-assisted research, and more broadly "agentic UX layers" will play a massive role in making the DeFi UX ready for mass adoption.
Last but not least, I think keeping an eye on the robotics vertical (which could very well see its own proper mini-meta soon if it didnt start already) makes a lot of sense. Could capture quite some attention in coming months imo. Personally betting on Codec rn, but NFA. OpenMind raise also interesting.
