All marketing is built on the idea that happiness can be obtained through buying things 🛒
And higher-level marketing goes even further, selling you the idea that buying itself is an art form — self-expression, self-worth, a way to stand out from the crowd 👥➡️👤

Right now you don’t have a relationship, but it’s okay — mascara from Brand X will fix that. It will make you SPECIAL
You’ll buy a Birkin bag not because it’s expensive, but because it’s for those who understand.
And if they sold it to you, it means you are the one who understands 💎
This wine costs $1,000 not because it’s a marketing concept, but because it’s exclusive — only 100 bottles a year! 🏷

In reality, the cycle of consumption always looks the same:

I feel bad. I saw THE shoes of my dreams. I must buy them immediately.

I bought THOSE shoes. I’m happy!

WE ARE NOT THE SAME. 5 FACTS⚡️

I finally realized what my disagreement with the bodybuilding approach to the body is about.
Bodybuilding claims that working with weights in the gym is a universal way to train the body.
Here are 5 facts that say otherwise 👇

Fact #1
Monotonous, repetitive load is generally better tolerated by women, while for men it can significantly lower testosterone levels 📉
That’s why male trainers often love heavy weights 🏋️‍♂️ and tend to dislike bodyweight-based movement.

Fact #2
“Training to failure” doesn’t work well for women.
The female body responds better to moderate but consistent training 🔁
The male body responds better to short, explosive efforts 💥

Fact #3
Men are, on average, about one-third less flexible than women 🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️
That’s why strength-based mobility is more important for men than for women — yet almost no men actually train it ⚠️

Fact #4
The same core exercises — for example crunches and planks — can be helpful for men but harmful for women.
In women with a weak pelvic floor after childbirth, planks and crunches can actually make the situation worse.

Fact #5
Fasting can work well for men, but it can be harmful for women ⛔️

We are not the same.
A woman is not a man in miniature.
A man is not a universal human.
We cannot and should not train the same way.

So how should women and men train to achieve the best results —
a toned, lean, beautiful body without pain?

MEN’S EXERCISES THAT DON’T WORK FOR WOMEN 🚫

It’s time someone said it out loud:
There are exercises that work well for men but are not suitable for women.

1️⃣ Planks and crunches
Great for men
For women after childbirth, they often worsen diastasis and deliver zero real results ⚠️

2️⃣ Lunges and barbell squats

Men hold the load through a strong core 🏋️‍♂️
In women, the load often shifts to the knees and lower back.
The result? Back pain instead of glutes 😣

3️⃣ Jump squats and box jumps
They build leg strength well for men 🦵
For women—especially after childbirth or with pelvic organ prolapse—this often leads to leakage and chronic pain 🚨

4️⃣ Heavy deadlifts
8 out of 10 women perform them incorrectly.
Men pull using a stronger back.
Women often end up destroying their knees instead

5️⃣ Isolated biceps curls
A favorite exercise among men.
For women with weak elbows and an unstable core, it’s at best useless, and at worst leads to elbow and shoulder pain 😔

We are not the same.
Women don’t need men’s exercises 🙅‍♀️

They need movements that:
✔️ respect hormonal differences
✔️ protect the pelvic floor
✔️ shape the body through integration, not overload

I AM 40

Today I turn 40. And here are 10 things that truly work:

1. Do what you love.
This is not a slogan, not a cliché, not motivational fluff. It is the only thing that brings happiness, fulfillment, and yes — money.

2. Perfect motherhood doesn’t exist.
Just like perfect families don’t exist. Nothing is perfect. What matters most is how quickly you can shift from “I could kill everyone right now” to “we are together.”

3. The worst thing you can do is compare yourself to others on social media.
When someone shows their perfect morning, just ask yourself: who set up the camera and the lighting?

4. Friendship becomes harder after 30.
So if by 40 you not only still have friends, but have gained many new ones — that is real happiness. And yes, it requires effort.

5. I wrote about this in my book, and I will repeat it again and again:
Life is beautiful because it can change at any moment. At any moment.
If someone had told me at 30 that I would celebrate my 40th birthday in California, I would have thought they were crazy.

6. Stop trying to fix people.
Friends, relatives, employees — anyone.
If you like them, stay. If you don’t, don’t.

7. There is nothing wrong with loving beautiful, expensive, material things.
I am a woman. An Eastern woman. And yes — I love being beautiful.

8. There is nothing wrong with working 24 hours a day.
As long as you are working for yourself.

9. Not everything in life has to be logical.
Happiness is a hormone. Logic does not produce it.

10. The main rule: there are no rules.
No one is watching you.
All rewards and all punishments come only from you.

5 nutrition secrets that work for women — and are useless for men

The most common male advice — “eat more protein, cut carbs” — does NOT work for women 🚫

Let’s break down why 👇

A woman is not a man in miniature.
And this applies not only to training, but to food as well 💛

Here are 5 things women actually need, and men either don’t — or don’t benefit from at all 👇

1️⃣ Fasting: helpful for men, harmful for women

Women don’t tolerate hunger well.
For you, hunger is a direct path to water retention and weight gain, because women are more sensitive to cortisol spikes ⚡️

That’s why rule number one for women is: eat regularly 🍽
Do NOT fast if you don’t want to pay for it with hormonal imbalance 🚨

2️⃣ The same food works differently in different phases of the cycle

The male body reacts to the same food more or less consistently.
The female body doesn’t 🔄

In PMS, coffee and carbs can cause water retention, and protein may feel completely unappealing ☕️
Around ovulation, it’s often the opposite — strong appetite for protein and coffee works just fine.

This is normal 🌿

3️⃣ Women use FAT as fuel more efficiently

Yes, that’s true.
The female body is evolutionarily designed to run on fat 🔥

That’s why fat loss in women starts from fat,
while in men it often starts from muscle 💪

But only if:
— you don’t starve
— you don’t punish yourself with cardio
— you’re not living in constant stress 😔

4️⃣ Protein is NOT the solution to everything

“Eat more protein” is a favorite line in male fitness culture.

For women, excess protein often leads to:
— dehydration
— bloating
— kidney overload
— dry skin

👉 Women need balance, not protein at any cost ⚖️

5️⃣ For women, the nervous system matters more than a perfect diet

You can eat “clean,”
but if you don’t sleep, stay stressed, and are constantly rushing —
your body will not lose weight 😴

For men, diet + training is often enough.
For women, calm is essential 🌸

That’s why when women follow male nutrition advice,
they shouldn’t be surprised when results don’t come.

ONE THING THAT CHANGED MY BODY

Recently, I was looking through my old photos 📸
And you know what struck me?

I’ve been taking care of my body my entire life — running, going to the gym, trying different workouts.
But I never had abs like I do now.
Not once.

Why?

Let’s be honest.

I never truly liked the gym.

On Friday, a group of people dressed in black stormed into my house, made me pack a suitcase, and took me away in an unknown direction in front of my family 😅

It was the second part of celebrating my 40th birthday 🎉

The “bandits” took me to a gong meditation, hiking, beautiful food, and meaningful conversations with my girlfriends 🥾🥂💛

You’ve probably already seen how it looked on social media. And of course, we collected every kind of hate imaginable 💬

“Stupid lazy women…”
“Who’s paying for this party?” 💸
“With husbands like that, no surprise…”
And of course, the classic:
“She must have slept her way into it…”

The most popular search query next to my name is:
“Zarina Del Mar – husband.” 🔎

Because in many people’s minds, it simply doesn’t fit that someone without outside money from a husband or parents can:

Earn her own living 💼
Spend her money the way she chooses 💳
And have the time to do it

We all work 24/7. That’s exactly why we’re interesting to each other.

What unites us is not the desire to drink champagne at 11 a.m., but the ability to afford it — without asking for money or permission from our husbands 💪

And even after champagne at 11 a.m., we keep working — on laptops, on phones, in offices. After the kids go to bed. After dinner. On flights.

Work is not a part of life.
It is life.

And you either live it on your terms — or on someone else’s 💛

HOW I GET BORING THINGS DONE

This is my fifteenth letter ✉️ and today we’re going to talk about laziness, procrastination, and how to finally start doing what you actually need to do.
90% of what people call procrastination is simply living someone else’s life.

When I forced myself to go to work as a lawyer ⚖️
forced myself to go to the gym at 6 a.m. 🏋️‍♀️
or forced myself to drink protein shakes 🥤- it NEVER worked.

Because in reality, none of it was leading me to the results I wanted.

Only when I started doing what I truly wanted to do ❤️ did time, energy, strength, and resources suddenly appear.

But there is an important point.
Things still have to get done.

Ladies - just in case you forgot — today is your day.
Let me tell you how I feel about March 8.

Yes, I know all about Clara Zetkin. And yes, I also know I personally have nothing to do with her.
Just like February 14 doesn’t really have much to do with Saint Valentine anymore — it’s simply a day about love.

And December 31 isn’t even the “real” New Year for many cultures.
In the U.S., for example, it’s not even the biggest holiday.
But that’s not the point.

When a man starts talking about the historical background of International Women’s Day or women’s rights movements, he often misses one very simple thing.
Holidays are not about the reason.
They are about attention.

I don’t need a Cartier ring or a Bvlgari bracelet for March 8.
It’s not about the price of the gift.

What matters to me is that the person next to me is:
someone who wants to make me happy
someone who knows how to make me happy
someone who took the time and thought to do it

Like everything in life, relationships are an exchange of energy.
And of course that should go both ways.

But in the direction of women…
maybe just a little bit more.
🧔‍♂️ Because to make a man happy, you mostly need to understand him — and love him a little.
💃 But to make a woman happy, you mostly need to love her — and understand her a little.

And let’s be honest.
Deep down, we’re all still girls.
And yes — we love gifts.
So don’t be cheap.

Just a reminder — in a week I’m going to Japan, my dream trip
And Japanese geishas were masters of the art of captivating men
There’s actually no magic involved — it’s mostly biochemistry and basic cognitive psychology 🧠 🧬

So here are 7 rules on how to spark a man’s interest 👇

1. Make the first contact memorable


No cheap tricks like a raspy “seductive” voice or lines like
“you have such beautiful hands.”
Just be natural and genuinely curious about him 🤍
For example:
— Wow, that was an amazing return. How long have you been playing? Where did you learn?
— I heard your talk about logistics earlier. Honestly, I didn’t understand a single word, but you sounded incredibly convincing. Can you explain it again? Let’s say this pencil needs to be shipped — how would you do it?

One important note 💡

silent judgment from the corner is NOT first contact.
The “I’m a princess, come rescue me” approach might work at 16.
After 35 it usually just translates to:
“I’m not like the others… I’m just waiting to be discovered”

2. Enter his personal space

Most conversations happen at about 6 feet (2 meters) 📏
Half a meter (about 1–2 feet) is reserved for people we feel close to.
That’s why the first casual touch matters 🤝
For example:
— Oh wow, is that a Rolex? How long were you on the waiting list?
— Can I try it on? I love men’s watches.
Why does this work?
At close distance, a man stops processing you purely rationally.
He starts noticing your natural scent — skin and hair 🌿
And that’s one of the most powerful aphrodisiacs in the world.

3. No heavy perfume 🌸

Many women want to smell “expensive.”
But strong perfume often does the opposite —
it overwhelms the senses.
Attraction works in a much subtler way.
People subconsciously respond to a warm natural body scent, not alcohol and artificial fragrance.

4. Touch 🤍

At the beginning of relationships, couples touch each other hundreds of times a day.
Hands.
Shoulders.
Playing with each other’s hair.
Being playful.
Over time, in many relationships, that number drops to zero.
And suddenly people start feeling like
roommates instead of partners.

So touch him more often.
A light touch on the arm.
Brushing against him.
Holding his hand 🤝
It can be far more exciting than any piece of revealing lingerie.

5. You must have your own life 🌍

Your own friends.
Your own money 💳
Your own interests.

What does a man fear most on a first date?
A woman who starts showing photos of her friends’ weddings and asking about his long-term intentions.

Individuality is always more attractive.

A healthy conversation might look like this:
— I’d love to take you to dinner tonight 🍷
— Oh, tonight is my friend’s birthday. If you’d told me earlier! Let’s do it in a couple of days.

This shows that you’re interested —
but not sacrificing your life for him.

And that’s exactly when a man starts thinking:
“Hmm… she’s different.”

6. The first date should be on your terms ☕️

Saying something like:
“Send a Maybach for me and take me to a three-star Michelin restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️” is probably the worst way to start.

Because you’re immediately signaling: I’m here for the money.

And if he already has money — he won’t need to try very hard.
The money will be there. The emotional connection won’t.

A great first date looks very different.
For example:
— I have time on Tuesday from 2 to 3 pm 📅
— Let’s meet at this coffee shop ☕️

Arrive a little early.
Order two coffees — one for you and one for him ☕️☕️

Why this works:
• it’s unexpected
• you show thoughtfulness 🤍
• you break the stereotype of women always being late
• you show that you have a full life

And if he turns out to be weird — you simply finish your coffee and leave.
No drama.

7. Kind eyes 👀

This is something 90% of women forget.
What men often look for is a feeling of warmth and acceptance 🤍

You don’t need perfect makeup 💄
Perfect nails 💅
Perfect hair 💇‍♀️

But a woman with kind eyes and a warm smile has far more chances than the cold “Ice Queen” ❄️👑
