For years, Julian has been my person, someone I’ve shared life with through all its phases and stories, like a brother in every way that matters. Tonight felt different. For the first time, we sat at the same table on a double date, him with Bellamy by his side, and me with my beautiful wife by mine, right where she belongs. We talked and laughed, just natural like it always has. But this time, there was something more to it, like we weren’t just sharing stories anymore, we were living the same chapter together.

we walked in all cute and a little excited—first sips of white wine and sparkling water, pretending we had self-control for the evening (we didn’t). somewhere between the grilled lobster, perfectly seared steak, and “just one more bite,” it turned into nonstop laughter, random stories, and inside jokes forming in real time—the kind of energy where nobody wants the moment to slow down. four people, one table, and conversations bouncing everywhere—cutting each other off, “wait, listen to this,” passing plates around like it’s our own kitchen. when the cheese plate came out, creamy, bold, a little too good. we were already in that happy, full, slightly chaotic mood where everything feels funnier than it should be. definitely one of those times where time went by in a blink, and it was a really nice time. ♡

ㅤAunty is on duty today while my brother and his gorgeous wife went on a double date! Well, I and Zeya ended up surrounded by stacks of children’s books, tiny Sylvanian Family adventures, and Zeya’s endless curiosity. We read, played, read some more, and somewhere in between I found myself softly reading her to sleep. Oh, I can’t believe she’s already this big, it feels like just yesterday she was so tiny and such a baby! ❤️🥹
