This month, I’m thinking about how many beautiful things there are in this world, and how lucky I am to find so many of them in you. Your kindness, patience, tenderness, strength, and the way you love me are things I could spend a lifetime being grateful for. You carry so many of the qualities that make life beautiful, and I find all of them in the woman I get to call my wife. I don’t need to look anywhere else for the goodness that makes life worth cherishing, because I get to see it in you, live beside it, and call it mine every day.

one of those evenings that started with getting dressed up with my husband by my side and ended with all of us sitting around the table for far longer than planned. we were invited to Jason and Phalosa’s open house for dinner, with Calverto, Salsya, Mitzi & Yustas joining us, and it turned into such a genuinely fun little gathering. there was so much talking and laughing throughout the night, conversations crossing from one end of the table to the other, everyone catching up while enjoying everything our hosts had so thoughtfully prepared for us. dinner was just as lovely, with steak, mushrooms and fries, alongside the little starters and drinks we enjoyed throughout the evening, followed by those adorable tiramisu cups that made the sweetest ending. a beautiful table, a lovely dinner, plenty of laughter, and an evening we were genuinely happy to be part of.❤️

i know you’re technically my husband now, but i think i’m still allowed to call you my boyfriend because you’re still the same person i get all giggly and annoying over. the person i randomly wanna tell everything to, the person i bother with the most unnecessary stories, the person i look for first whenever i have something to yap about, and unfortunately.. the person who has to deal with all of my moods, clinginess, random thoughts, and 3am nonsense for the rest of your life. so, happy boyfriend day to my favorite boyfriend, my husband, my baba, my forever person. thank you for letting me love you in all the silly little ways i know how. i hope you know that being your wife will never stop me from being completely smitten with you. <3
