A Support Level Is Not Automatically a Buy

Price reaching support doesn't mean you should immediately buy.

A support zone simply tells you:

πŸ‘€ This is an area worth paying attention to.

What happens inside that area matters more than the level itself.

πŸ”Ž Look for confirmation:

β€’ Rejection from the zone
β€’ πŸ”„ Change in short-term structure
β€’ ⚠️ Failed breakdown
β€’ ⚑ Strong reaction from buyers

Think of it this way:

Support β†’ Context
Price Action β†’ Information

A level tells you where to pay attention.
Price action helps you understand what may happen next.

πŸ“Œ Don't trade the level. Read the reaction.

Gold Series Introduction

πŸ₯‡ Gold Traders β€” We’re Starting a Regular XAUUSD Series

Gold is going to be one of the main markets we follow here at Zarix.

In our regular XAUUSD updates, we’ll focus on things that actually matter when reading the chart:

β€’ Current market bias
β€’ Key technical areas
β€’ Bullish and bearish scenarios
β€’ What would invalidate the setup

The goal isn’t to predict every move or give guaranteed calls.

It’s to build clear scenarios, define the conditions, and adjust when the market structure changes.

XAUUSD Market Outlook starts here.

@zarixschool
πŸ₯‡ XAUUSD Market Outlook

Current Bias: 🟒 Bullish

Key Areas
πŸ”Ή 4,428–4,482 β€” Resistance
πŸ”Ή 4,233–4,313 β€” Pullback area
πŸ”Ή 4,143–4,177 β€” Deeper support

Bullish Scenario
If buyers hold the pullback areas, gold could make another move toward 4,428–4,482.

Bearish Scenario
A break below 4,313 could open the way to 4,233 and possibly 4,143–4,177.

What we're watching
How price reacts around 4,313–4,233. That should tell us whether buyers are still in control.

πŸ“š Breakout or Fakeout?

One candle above resistance isn't always enough to confirm a breakout.

A useful breakout usually needs context.

Ask:

πŸ”Ή Did price close beyond the level?
πŸ”Ή Was there a strong rejection back inside?
πŸ”Ή Did structure actually change?
πŸ”Ή Is price accepting above the level or just testing it?

The goal isn't to predict every fakeout.

The goal is to avoid treating every small break as confirmation.

@zarixschool
🧠 CHART QUESTION

Price reaches an important resistance zone after a strong bullish move.

What would you prefer to do?

πŸ”΄ Sell immediately
⏳ Wait for rejection
πŸ“ˆ Wait for breakout confirmation
βšͺ No trade yet

πŸ‘‡ Vote in the poll below.

We'll break down the reasoning afterward.

@zarixschool
CHART BREAKDOWN

There Isn't Always a Correct β€œBuy or Sell” Answer

About our previous chart question...

The important part wasn't simply choosing Buy or Sell.

It was understanding this:

Location alone isn't confirmation.

At resistance, more than one scenario can still be valid.

πŸ”΄ Rejection β†’ Bearish scenario

or

🟒 Breakout + Acceptance β†’ Continuation scenario

Good analysis isn't always about making an immediate prediction.

Sometimes the best decision is to wait for the market to reveal which scenario is developing.

πŸ“Œ Build scenarios first. Make decisions second.

@zarixschool
πŸ” HIGHER TIMEFRAME FIRST

Before analyzing a 5-minute or 15-minute chart...

Zoom out.

A lower-timeframe setup can look perfect while sitting directly against a major Daily or Weekly level.

A simple workflow:

Weekly β†’ Daily β†’ 4H β†’ Execution Timeframe

You don't need ten different timeframes.

You need enough context to understand:

πŸ“ Where price is
🎯 Which levels matter
πŸ“Š Where your setup fits into the larger structure

Context before execution.

@zarixschool
πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ GBPUSD MARKET OUTLOOK
πŸ” Higher-Timeframe Bias
Bullish.

On the weekly chart, GBPUSD is still pushing higher and the current structure suggests continuation may remain possible while price holds its recent strength.

🎯 Key Area
1.35579
Above that, the next major resistance zone sits around 1.36634 – 1.36945.

🟒 Bullish Scenario
If price continues higher and clears 1.35579, the path may open toward the 1.36634 – 1.36945 resistance area.

⚠️ Invalidation / Change of View
A clear failure to continue above 1.35579 would weaken the immediate bullish outlook and shift the view to a more cautious stance.

πŸ‘€ What We're Watching
Whether price can break and continue above 1.35579, or whether that area turns into another rejection point before the market reaches 1.36634 – 1.36945.

We'll update the outlook if market structure changes.

⏳ WHY WAITING CAN BE A TRADING DECISION

Not every market condition deserves a trade.

Sometimes price is:

β€’ ↔️ Between major levels
β€’ 🌫 Moving without clear structure
β€’ πŸ“ˆ Too extended
β€’ ⏳ Waiting for confirmation

In those situations:

No trade is still a decision.

You don't get paid for the number of trades you take.

You get exposed to risk every time you enter one.

πŸ“Œ Sometimes the best position is no position.

@zarixschool
πŸ“Š ZARIX CHART BREAKDOWN #1

When price approaches an important zone, don't ask only:

❌ Will it go up or down?

Ask instead:

🟒 What would make me bullish?

and

πŸ”΄ What would make me bearish?

Now you have two defined scenarios instead of one prediction.

That gives you something much more useful:

A plan for different outcomes.

This is how we'll approach many charts on Zarix.

πŸ“Œ Predict less. Prepare better.

@zarixschool
πŸ“š TRADING EDUCATION

Resistance Is an Area, Not a Magic Line

Price rarely reacts perfectly to one exact number.

That's why support and resistance are often better understood as zones.

Inside a resistance zone, price may:

β€’ πŸ•― Wick through
β€’ ↔️ Consolidate
β€’ ⚠️ Temporarily break above
β€’ πŸ”» Reject strongly

The important information isn't whether price touched an exact number.

It's how price behaves around the area.

πŸ₯‡ XAUUSD OUTLOOK

Gold is still trading within a bullish recovery, but this week one level matters more than anything else:

🎯 4,496

A weekly close above 4,496 would strengthen the case that the correction is over and that gold may be ready to continue toward the previous highs.

What We're Watching

πŸ”Ή On the daily chart, several pullback scenarios are still possible before another move higher.

πŸ”Ή On the 4H chart, the main support areas are around:

4,363–4,350
4,309

If price pulls back into these zones and forms a strong bullish setup, buyers may regain control.

⚠️ Until gold closes above 4,496, the bullish view remains valid β€” but the larger breakout is not confirmed yet.

πŸ“Œ Higher-timeframe bias: Bullish
πŸ‘€ Key confirmation: Weekly close above 4,496
🎯 Main focus: Reaction from support during pullbacks

No need to predict every candle. The reaction around these levels will tell us more.

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ GBPUSD MARKET OUTLOOK

πŸ” Higher-Timeframe Bias
Weekly structure remains bullish, but price is compressing near resistance and the next move still needs confirmation.

🎯 Key Area
1.3474 is the main decision level.

🟒 Bullish Scenario
As long as GBPUSD holds above 1.3474, price can continue toward 1.3564 and then 1.3589.

πŸ”΄ Bearish Scenario
A daily close below 1.3474 would weaken the bullish structure and could open the way toward 1.3417.

⚠️ Invalidation / Change of View
Bullish bias weakens below 1.3474.

πŸ‘€ What We’re Watching
Price reaction between 1.3474 support and 1.3564 resistance.

πŸ”₯ WHY I DON’T TRUST ICT

The real problem? ICT often looks clearer after the move than before it.

⚠️ Rules keep changing
New models can make older concepts harder to apply consistently.

🧠 β€œSmart money” can become a story
Liquidity matters. But claims about *why* β€œthe algorithm” moved price are hard to verify.

πŸ” Hindsight makes setups look perfect
After the move, the FVG, sweep, OB and MSS seem obvious. Live, several zones may look valid.

🎯 Too much subjectivity
Two ICT traders can mark the same chart differentlyβ€”and both explain it afterward.

πŸ“ˆ Social media distorts expectations
Perfect entries get posted. Failed setups and drawdowns rarely do.

πŸ’° Complexity isn’t proof of edge
More terminology and courses don’t prove a repeatable advantage.

If a model can explain every outcome afterward, how do you know when it was wrong?

πŸ₯‡ XAUUSD UPDATE β€” FIRST LEVEL CLEARED

Gold has now pushed through 4,496, the first major level highlighted in our weekly outlook.

The bullish scenario is continuing to develop, and attention now shifts to the next marked target:

🎯 4,553

The key question now is whether buyers can maintain the momentum after the breakout, or whether gold needs a short pullback first.

πŸ‘€ What do you think β€” does XAUUSD reach 4,553 tonight?

πŸ“Š Our original analysis and levels were shared before the move.
πŸ”₯ THE BIG PROBLEM WITH SMC

SMC looks incredibly precise after price has already moved.
That’s exactly the problem.

🧠 β€œSmart Money” isn’t visible on your chart.
An Order Block may describe where price reactedβ€”but it doesn’t prove banks placed orders there.

🎯 The rules are often subjective.
Give the same chart to three SMC traders and you may get three different OBs, liquidity zones and BOS/CHoCH readings.

πŸ” Hindsight does the heavy lifting.
After the move, the β€œperfect” FVG and liquidity sweep look obvious. Live? Several zones may look equally valid.

πŸ“Š A framework is not an edge.
Knowing the vocabulary doesn’t prove positive expectancy. The rules still need to be defined, tested and survive costs and unseen data.

Here’s the uncomfortable question:

If β€œsmart money” really left such obvious footprints… why are they easiest to see after the trade is over?

Send this to an SMC trader and ask them for the answer. πŸ‘€

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ GBPUSD β€” SCENARIO PLAYED OUT

At the start of the week, our key level was 1.3474.

The idea was simple:

🟒 Hold above 1.3474
β†’ bullish continuation toward 1.3564
β†’ then 1.3589
β†’ with 1.3658 as the higher target

And that is exactly how price developed.

βœ… 1.3474 held
βœ… 1.3564 reached
βœ… 1.3589 cleared
🎯 Price is now testing the 1.3658 area

No need for complicated predictions.

Just a clear level, a clear scenario, and waiting for price to confirm it.

πŸ“Š This is why scenario-based analysis matters.

πŸ₯‡ XAUUSD β€” BOTH TARGETS HIT

This was our gold outlook at the start of the week.

The idea was simple:

πŸ”Ή Watch the 4,335–4,356 support area for a bullish reaction
πŸ”Ή First major target: 4,496
πŸ”Ή Second target: 4,553

Now look at what happened.

βœ… Gold reacted from the support area
βœ… 4,496 was cleared
βœ… 4,553 was reached and broken
πŸ“ˆ Price has now pushed above 4,560

What makes this move interesting is that it wasn’t just the direction that worked β€” the overall path developed very close to the scenario marked on the original chart.

No prediction is guaranteed, but this is exactly why we prefer working with clear levels + defined scenarios instead of chasing every candle.

πŸ“Š Original analysis β†’ Result

Now the question is:

πŸ‘€ Can gold hold above 4,553 and continue higher, or is a pullback coming first?
