🤩 I had always considered myself strong enough not to get nervous over things like this. After everything Vaughn and I had been through, an ordinary wedding ceremony shouldn't have been enough to make my hands tremble.
And yet, when the doors opened and the aisle stretched out before me, I could barely take the first step. My heart was beating so fast it felt as if it were trying to break free from my chest.

He stood at the altar in a dark suit, tall, confident, impossibly handsome. So familiar, yet somehow completely new in that moment. As if I were seeing him for the very first time. My gaze met his. And the whole world disappeared. There were no guests, no walls, no music.

Only the boy who once drove me crazy simply by existing. The one who made me angry, made me argue, made me doubt. The one who managed to get under my skin so deeply that I could no longer imagine my life without him.
