One girl always wanted to learn how to play the violin. She was listening to music, watching concerts and was sitting sadly at the window.
Her family was very poor. They couldn't buy a violin for their daughter. But the girl tried not to be sad. She was happy when she heard the sound of a favorite musical instrument.
She continued dreaming. Once she was walking on the street when she saw a homeless man, who was playing the violin. She has a few dollars with herself.
She was so sorry for this man so she decided to give him her money. —
Thank you, kind girl. – said the man. – What can I do for you? Blushed she came home without saying a word.
The next morning she found a violin near the front door. There was a note: "The kindness is always regarded".

The next day, I was not sad. I was not afraid of my old coat
and boots. My whole manner of thinking of our misfortune
had changed. What I had to do was to show my aunt that her
kindness to me had not been in vain. I had to begin my work
with a steady heart. What I had to do was to take my axe in my
hand, and clear my own way through the forest of difficulty to
my beloved Dora. So I went to Mr Strong's cottage as fast as
I could. A big change seemed to come in my whole life. But
that did not upset me. With the new life came new purpose and
wishes. My work was hard, but the reward was great. Dora was
the reward, and only Dora… When I approached Mr Strong's
cottage, I saw him walking in the garden with his companion
about him. I opened the gate and walked towards him joyfully.
He looked at me attentively for a moment.
