---
Release Notes:

What's New

- Redesigned Dashboard — A cleaner, more polished dashboard with improved layout and navigation.
- Bot Settings Panel — New dedicated settings view for configuring your bot directly from the dashboard.
- Abilities & Skills Panels — See your bot's MCP abilities and skills at a glance.
- Model Selector Update — Claude 4.6 models (Sonnet & Opus) now available, with clearer model labels and cost indicators.

Reliability

- Voice messages now complete reliably — Fixed an issue where the bot could get stuck on "typing..." after responding to a voice message. Responses and voice replies now deliver promptly every time.
- Local Whisper transcription fixed — Resolved a crash when using on-device voice transcription. The app now includes all required components and automatically falls back to CPU processing if GPU acceleration is unavailable.
- Better error diagnostics — When voice transcription fails, the error message now tells you exactly what went wrong instead of a generic error code.

Under the Hood

- Analytics integration for usage insights.
- Numerous stability improvements and bug fixes across the bot runtime.

AI is a loose term.
And the looseness is causing confusion.

We speak about AI as though it were the name of a thing, even an entity.
But artificial intelligence is not the thing. It is a description.

Intelligence is not an entity.
It is a property, a capacity, a quality.

So what exactly are we pointing at when we say “AI”?

Not the intelligence.
Not the output.
Not the field.
Not the code alone.

We are pointing at something for which language still has no clean word.

And that matters.

Because when the name is wrong, the thinking goes wrong with it.

We keep bouncing between broken labels: “tool”
“agent”
“model”
“machine”
“mind”
“entity”

None of them fit cleanly.
Each one smuggles in assumptions.

So here is a proposal:

Noet.

A Noet is the bearer of artificial intelligence.
Not intelligence itself, but the thing that instantiates it.

That gives us cleaner language:

Artificial intelligence = the capability

Noet = the bearer of that capability

Agent = a noet that acts toward goals

Person = a separate category entirely, not something we should casually assume

This may sound like semantics. It isn’t.

Bad vocabulary creates bad philosophy, bad policy, bad law, bad public debate.

Right now, “AI” is doing too much work: it names a field, a capability, an output class, and sometimes even the supposed being behind it.

That is linguistic fog.

Maybe the first step toward clearer thinking is simple:

Stop calling the description the thing.
Start naming the thing.

Noet.

What do you think: useful distinction, or unnecessary word inflation?
