SEC sues Coinbase ‼️

What a bounce on Bitcoin! Almost engulfed the whole dump. Most likely the bottom is in and we will not see Bitcoin around $25,000 any time soon

As for now we have a descending channel, and a few horizontal levels according to Fibo
The main resistance is now located in the $27,200 - $27,400 zone

Currently I have 40% of the deposit in Bitcoin and 15% in Ethereum

It is a rather risky purchase from the first glance, but globally will definitely pay off. There is a strong support at $258 level, the recent FUD gave a great entry.

This level holds the price for almost a year now and it will be foolish to think that they will let a breakdown happen. The capital around Binance is way too strong.

🏦 Thoughts on SEC suing Coinbase & Binance

The SEC complaint doesn't mention it, but there is currently NO WAY for a platform like Coinbase/Binance to register as an exchange, broker, or clearing agent. This is why they have been begging the SEC during recent YEARS to give them a path to compliance.

Instead of working constructively with US market participants to develop a workable model, the SEC is suing. No accusations of fraud, just rebukes of Coinbase for failing to do the impossible. The SEC's mission is to build the safe and settled place for investors and traders, but does vice versa.

Moreover, the SEC approved the sale of Coinbase stock to the public - meaning that not only cryptocurrency investors, but also Coinbase shareholders will suffer

🧐 So, What Conclusions Do We Have?

1. For years, the SEC has failed to provide helpful guidance and engage in productive activities, while incorrectly claiming that "the law is clear" despite refusing to explain how exchange can follow it.

2. During Gary Gensler's tenure at the SEC, he managed to sneak peek the $8B fraud and FTX bankruptcy, as well as the over $4B bankruptcies of Voyager, Genesis and BlockFi. Moreover, he was a Senior Advisor to the MIT media lab that incubated and endorsed a $45 million ICO exit scam. This man's professional suitability has already been openly questioned.

3. The punch from the SEC turned out to be rather weak. The crypto market has been waiting for it for a long time, and what did we get? A dump from $26,800 to $25,500 (-6%) and a quick return of the price back. When news of this strength doesn't provide strong momentum (at least 10% to 13%), we can clearly state two things:

- The validity of the SEC claim is at a very low level, smart people understand this and are not willing to sell on this kind of FUD

- The current price is as close to a global bottom as possible and we likely won't see Bitcoin below $23,000 in the near future.
