The phenomena of puppygirls honestly feels like a Psyop sometimes. One wherein largely white transfems fall face flat into learned helplessness and a hypersexualized, submissive underclass. Puppygirl dynamics often also reinforce individualistic compartmentalization within a limited social circle, rather than something more expansive, which affects the capacity to organize community beyond one's social circle (often a polycule or kink circle).

In turn, what we get is a system that does not challenge the capitalist mode of production nor the superstructure it exists in; instead, we get complacency, feeding into apolitical behavior and normalizing it for other transgirls and the queer community at-large.

We can very well see it with the phenomeon of trans migration to Seattle, Washington ("transmecca"), where there is frequently rhetoric of escape from persecution. However, it isn't some sort of collective escape, like the Freedom Road, but more private; this can be seen especially in attitudes like "if you stay in X red state, your problem not mine", or in how despite migration to Seattle there is no at-large community formation that gets active in local Seattle politics, or engages in organized mutual aid. Instead, we see apolitical behavior that only benefits the ruling class.

Queer needs to be radical, challenging, and empowering. Not compartmentalizing, atomizing, individualizing, nor promoting learned helplessness, gender policing and so on.

To be clear: I'm not saying kink bad, or furries bad or therians bad. I'm talking about a very specific type of "Puppygirl"— the one who completely disengages from material reality, falling into the worst kind of learned helplessness, atomization and apolitical behavior.

I'm a trans, furry, therian, and kinky possum myself. It's rad. I just don't subscribe to what I perceive as a pipeline to atomization, alienation and apolitical behavior

I want you to value yourself enough to be willing to fight for your right to exist

to learn how to organize

to learn from the past to not repeat it's mistakes

I think you're worth it. You ought to too.

It doesn't matter where you start from.

All have the ability to learn how to break their chains and join with others.

Learning is life long it doesn't just stop.
