It has become one of the rallying cries of the world's reactionary and populist leaders. At his inauguration, on January 20, Donald Trump 🇺🇸 declared that the United States would henceforth recognize "only two genders: male and female," as defined at birth. Three days later, at Davos, Argentine President Javier Milei 🇦🇷 used "gender ideology" as the leitmotif of his attacks against the "mental virus of the woke ideology." Likewise, Vladimir Putin 🇷🇺 has regularly condemned the "so-called gender freedoms" of the West, which he judged to be "decadent."

by Direct Action United
2025

This is a simplified introductory course to firearm safety and handling for total beginners. We will cover a generalized, but in-depth, overview of the core firearm safety rules, some secondary handling and storage safety rules, and guidelines for personal judgement regarding using and owning firearms. We will also hear from some socialist leaders and liberators on why the working class should embrace, rather than reject, firearms.

From the Guardian 🇪🇨 Ecuador’s vice-president, Verónica Abad, has accused the country’s president – her former running mate Daniel Noboa – of “violating the democratic code” by using the state apparatus to gain an advantage over the other candidates in the country’s runoff election.

In Sunday’s vote, the rightwing incumbent defeated the leftist Luisa González by a considerable margin after narrowly beating her in the first round.

She argued that the election was unfair because Noboa refused to step down from office while running – as required by the constitution.
