📊IELTS WRITING TASK 1! 💥MAP @WRITING_T
The maps illustrate two phases in the development of a public library over a two-decade timeframe.

In terms of overall modifications, the library has changed its layout to better meet the needs of its users and accommodate new technologies, services, and recreational facilities. Of particular note is the removal of central tables and chairs to create an open space.

Adjacent to the entrance, the reading room, previously designated for magazines and newspapers, has been converted into a computer room. Similarly, the former enquiry desk on the right-hand side has been replaced by a cafe, catering to visitors’ social and leisure needs.

Upon entering the library, there were two groups of tables and chairs in the middle, which are no longer present. The adult fiction section, initially situated on the left, has been relocated to the right and now incorporates an information desk and self-service machines. The area formerly dedicated to adult fiction now houses reference books.

In the upper left corner, the space allocated to CDs, videos, and computer games has been enlarged to make room for children’s fiction books and a storytelling area complete with sofas, creating an engaging environment for young readers. Furthermore, a new lecture room has been introduced in the upper right corner, replacing the children’s book section. Despite these alterations, the entrance has retained its original position.

IELTS SPEAKING PART 1!

Topic: Taking days off

1] How often do you have days off?

I usually take 1 day off per week to recharge my batteries and come back to work with greater energy and enthusiasm. Unlike hyper-conscientious people, who work around the clock and burn themselves to a frazzle, I do my best to take regular breaks to avoid knocking myself out.

2] What do you usually do on your days off?

Whenever I take days off, I enjoy traveling to the countryside and enjoying the tranquility of nature over there. Visiting picturesque natural places, I can do whatever I want to chill out and blow off steam, whether it be going on a hike, camping, or just writing poetry.

3] Do you usually spend your days off with your parents or with friends?

Although I love spending quality time with my immediate family members and extended relatives, I share my vacations and days off with my friends more often than not. Because of my work and studies, I don't get to interact with my friends as much as I want. So a day off is a great opportunity for me to catch up with them, just shooting the breeze and enjoying each others' company.

4] When was the last time you had a couple of days off?

It was last weekend when I took a break from work and made up my mind to rest. At the time, I was so worn out and overwhelmed that I couldn't imagine staying focused and motivated without a couple of days off. Then, I reached out to my friends, playing video games, watching action-packed movies, and taking a walk together. The break came in handy in terms of recalibrating my mind and regaining control over my life.

IELTS WRITING TASK 2!

In light of evolving societal expectations and a growing emphasis on academic achievement, it has become increasingly commonplace for school graduates to face stiff competition for university admissions, particularly in Eastern communities. This is a good turn of events as far as I am concerned.

On an individual level, the intensification of university competition serves as a catalyst for personal growth and development. With limited admissions quotas come a surge in demand, compelling students to take their higher education pursuits seriously and excel academically. As academiic competitiveness escalates, young individuals not only refine their time management and critical thinking skills but also cultivate essential qualities like discipline and perseverance. In a world where academic excellence is often downplayed in importance, intense competition can instill a stronger sense of motivation and dedication in students.

On a broader societal scale, the positive effects of increased university competition are even more pronounced. As a rising number of students enter educational institutions with greater levels of competitiveness and commitment, crucial sectors such as healthcare and education stand to benefit from a more skilled and driven workforce. The presence of competitive university graduates can ultimately contribute to an enhanced standard of living and foster a culture of growth and innovation. A case in point is Japan, where the fiercely competitive educational environment has led to advancements in public services and defense capabilities, leading to overall social prosperity.

In conclusion, I firmly believe that the heightened competition for university spots represents a change for the better. Only through a highly competitive academic atmosphere can strides be made towards personal and societal advancement.

IELTS WRITING TASK 2!

@WRITING_T
👍30👏42😍1🌚1
In today's technologically driven world, the correlation between technological progress and criminal activities has been a subject of public discourse. While there are legitimate concerns about technology-facilitated crimes, I firmly believe that advancements in technology have led to a global reduction in crime rates.

Skeptics of technological advancement cite various reasons to support their stance. With the latest breakthroughs in the field of technology, brand-new forms of crime have come into existence. The interconnected nature of internet resources and the widespread prevalence of social media platforms have empowered cybercriminals to engage in activities like identity theft, financial fraud, and hacking, posing a serious threat to public safety and security. At a grassroots level, the adverse effects of technology seem to be even more pronounced. From hate speech and online harassment to the dissemination of illicit content like child pornography, the advent of digital platforms and technological devices has presented a diverse array of challenges that severely compromise our privacy and security.

Despite these arguments against technological progression, in my view, it has played a crucial role in lowering crime rates. With the proliferation of high-resolution surveillance cameras and facial recognition software, law enforcement agencies can now monitor public spaces more effectively, deter criminal activities, and respond to incidents in a timely manner. This enhanced monitoring capability can ultimately aid in preventing and detecting criminal behavior, leading to safer communities for residents. Furthermore, breakthroughs in forensic science and DNA profiling have greatly improved the accuracy of criminal investigations, facilitating the resolution of complex cases and the delivery of justice. Without these technological tools, individuals with malicious intentions would feel emboldened to break the law without fear of being caught.

In conclusion, while technological progress has given rise to a new set of difficulties in combatting crime, I contend that it does more good than harm. Only by embracing technological innovations and harnessing their benefits can strides be made in enhancing public safety and reducing crime rates.

TABLE!

@WRITING_T
🔥23👍6😍2
The table under consideration compares rice, wheat, and maize in terms of their consumption patterns across Cambodia, Poland, Egypt, and Mexico.

Overall, Cambodia ranks highest in rice consumption, while Egypt and Poland lean towards wheat, with maize standing out as the top choice in Mexico. It is also clear that Egypt's higher consumption statistics correspond with the lowest consumption levels in Poland.

In detail, Cambodia leads in rice consumption with a staggering 1445 calories per capita, nearly three times higher than Egypt's intake. Following at a considerable distance are Mexico and Poland, with respective figures of 57 and 19 calories.

When it comes to wheat consumption patterns, Egypt takes the lead with an impressive 1095 calories per person, followed closely by Poland at 865 calories per capita. Meanwhile, Mexico and Cambodia trail far behind, registering lower figures of 275 and only 18 calories per person, respectively.

Maize consumption statistics display a significant disparity when juxtaposed with the average intake of rice and wheat. Mexico leads the pack with an impressive 1083 calories per capita, in stark contrast to the 578 calories in Egypt and a mere 103 calories in Cambodia. At the opposite end of the spectrum, there is a complete absence of maize consumption in Poland.

If you don’t watch the news, you are uninformed. If you do watch them, you are misinformed

Shame on the mainstream media: they have turned the whole Uzbek population into ignorant, life-wasting, entertainment-oriented slaves who do not even know about the fact that they are slaves. The movies we watch have been polluted, the news we hear have been diluted, the books we read have been corrupted. Gone are the days when we spread the light of knowledge and purified souls worldwide, today’s Uzbekistan serves as a mere source of blue-collar workers, daughters of the sin, and mindless media consumers.
